福井サイクリング：谷トンネル（福井・石川県境）まで 勝山市北谷町 2025 [4K]
この動画は、福井県勝山市北谷地域を走るルートを記録したものです（2025年6月撮影）。
スタートは有名な福井県立恐竜博物館（村岡町）。川沿いの道をたどりながら国道157号線に入り、山間の北谷地区へと進みます。途中で訪れるのは、かつて400人近くが暮らしていたものの、今ではわずか1人となった限界集落・小原。
その後は県境へと登り、福井県と石川県を隔てる谷トンネルに到達します。ここからは県道135号線を下り、「牛首の道」という白峰村へ向かう道が残る五所ヵ原や谷集落を経由して、スタート地点の恐竜博物館へ戻ります。
登りの厳しさと、山里や集落の歴史が調和した、挑戦的かつ味わい深いルートです。
This video documents a full cycling loop through Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, filmed in July 2025.
The ride begins near the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum in Muraoka, a world-famous landmark of Katsuyama. From there, the route follows riverside roads before joining National Route 157, gradually climbing into the remote Kitadani area. Along the way, I pass through Ohara, a depopulated village once home to hundreds but now reduced to just one remaining resident.
The climb continues to the Tani Tunnel, which marks the border between Fukui and Ishikawa Prefectures. From this high point, the road descends via Prefectural Route 135, passing the old road of Ushikubi and through Goshogahara and Tani village, before looping back to the starting point near the Dinosaur Museum.
This circuit blends steep climbs, cultural landmarks, and scenic mountain valleys, offering both a physical challenge and a glimpse into the fading rural landscapes of Fukui.
