Hadano Hanami Ride / 秦野の桜道
In this video, I race ahead of the rain to capture the fleeting scenery of Japan’s cherry blossom season. One day, while researching ideal cycling routes, I stumbled across the Hadano Sakura Street (秦野の桜道).
At 6.2-kilometers, this is Kanagawa Prefecture’s longest cherry-tree lined road–a tunnel of blossoms that bloom from late March through early April. This video captures what it’s like to cruise through this slice of suburbia, starting with snippets of Matsuda and ending with a shot near Kozu Station, not far from the Shonan coast.

Nice video. But those lanes are so narrow that those passing cars have no room for errors. I thought that Japan would have more bike lanes. Be careful! Why not ride on the sidewalk?
This is a great video. Would be good to use for relaxing background video. The only problem that I had with this video is that for the entire ride, I could not find even one piece of litter. Was this a ride through utopia?
