Solo Japan Ride Ep. 6 – Nagashima Winds & Shrine Cave Adventure in Kagoshima | Project 47

Japan is made up of 47 prefectures — and I’m riding them all. 🏍️🇯🇵
This is Project 47, my solo motorcycle journey across Japan.

📍 Episode #6 concludes our Kagoshima adventure. I battle strong winds on Nagashima Island, visit a scenic lighthouse and the world-famous toilet with a view, enjoy authentic soba at a mountain pass restaurant, marvel at Sogi Falls (Japan’s Niagara), and end at the stunning Mizunokuchi Shrine cave on the border with Miyazaki.

✨ Highlights in this episode:

Battling 60km/h winds on Nagashima’s coast 💨

A lighthouse stop & the world’s coolest public toilet 🚽

Authentic soba at a mountain pass restaurant 🍜

Sogi Falls, Japan’s wild Niagara-like waterfall 🏞️

Mizunokuchi Shrine cave with a red torii gate ⛩️

  1. Glad to see the CB in action!

Has your recent extended use of the 400x changed your view on the cb?
Mainly interested in seating comfort/'big bike feel' and the relative low top end of the gb.
