Pedaling Through Time | A Kyoto Bike Adventure with Temples, Trails & Sakura Magic

Kudo’s got this amazing vibe where every twist and turn of the hool feels like a trip down memory lane. Today I’m getting lost in the enchanting city onto wheels, discovering hidden pagotas, scenic trails, and mouthwatering bikes all while admiring the stunning beauty of cherry blossoms unfurling. Biking in Kyoto is just this cool mix of historic cobblestone streets, old wooden homes, and the gentle rustle of cherry blossoms in the wind. It’s this perfect balance of calm and lively. Our next stop, the mustsea, Arashiamyama Bamboo Grove. After parking our bikes at the train station, we strapped in and let the adventure begin. Seriously, even with all the pictures I’ve seen of this place, nothing beats walking through these huge bamboo trees. The gentle rhythm of the wind going through the leaves felt like it was whispering secrets of the land. We continued our walk to Nissanin Temple tucked away in the hills. It’s a place that invites stillness where every stone path and wooden beam holds centuries of calm. Behind the temple, we followed a short trail up the mountain. And at the top, Kyoto revealed itself. A soft, quiet view stretching far into the horizon. It’s moments like this that remind you how small you are and how big beauty can be. Next, we walked deeper into the hills to Adishino Nanbatsuji Temple. Over 8,000 stone statues rest here, honoring the souls forgotten by name, but never by spirit. It’s hauntingly beautiful and incredibly humbling. After soaking in the silence, we got back on our bikes and coasted downhill. Cherry blossoms fluttering all around us, we ended our journey at Rioni Curry, a quiet jewel of Kyoto, known for its Zen rock garden. It’s a place where stillness becomes an experience. No words, just presence. Kiato doesn’t ask much from you. Just to slow down, to listen, and to notice the peace waiting in every temple, every trail, and every turn. Thank you for watching. See you on our next adventure at Fushimi Inari Shrine, home of the iconic Thousand Tory Gates.

Come with me as I bike through Kyoto’s most scenic and historical spots — from the tranquil Nison-in Temple to quick hillside hikes, city views, local eats, and of course, stunning cherry blossoms. This adventure captures the soul of Kyoto in springtime — quiet, beautiful, and unforgettable. 🌸🚴‍♀️ #shorts #shortviral
