It is considered the largest city in the Chubu region. It can be said to be the capital of Aichi Prefecture. It plays an important role in Japanese history, especially during the Sengoku period of civil war. Many people who read Japanese history will like this city. It is easy to get to. Actually, we can come to visit from Tokyo or Osaka by train as well.
