자전거 타고 송도 해수욕장가며, 투자비용, 방갈로 대여료, 노조가입 안하면.. #포항 #송도해수욕장
Hello. This is Yoon Dong-jitdal (YDZD). As you can see, I’m out riding my bike. I feel like I haven’t exercised much lately. So, I’m out riding my bike for the first time in a while, and I’m filming a video to introduce some of the places I cycle to in Pohang . This is the Hyeongsan River Bridge in Pohang. The Hyeongsan River Bridge. That thing you see in the distance is POSCO . I heard a lot of factories within POSCO have closed recently. People often say there are no jobs because of that, but I’m not sure about that. Anyway, I hope this all works out so Pohang can once again have the many jobs it used to have. Anyway, before I go on, there’s something I’d like to talk about. Here you see a bike path. There’s a bike path, and there’s a sign here that says, “No Bicycles Allowed.” And here is a walking path. Walking path. It says “walking path.” But now that I’m in Pohang, I realize that there used to be bicycles on this side of the road. But after this change, I noticed some cyclists are now using the walking path as a way to ride, perhaps because they’ve gotten used to it or because it’s become second nature . I walk, jog, and occasionally ride a bike, and I think this way: if possible… Since the city is doing this, cyclists should use the bike path here , and since I ride along the walking path, there’s a risk of collisions and it’s a bit dangerous. Honestly, that’s why I think cyclists should use the bike path whenever possible. I’ll start by saying this before I begin the video. Let’s move to a nearby location first. For reference, I’m riding along the Hyeongsan River. It’s hard to see at night, right? So, I ‘ll upload some footage I shot during the day. There’s the Pohang Canal and a boat ride, and more. But above all, if you’re curious about where Pohang citizens walk, jog, and ride their bikes along the river, I think it’s not a bad idea to come and take a walk along the river . And more than anything, there are more people who don’t know about the Pohang Canal than I thought. But for our subscribers, if you’re visiting Pohang and have nothing else to do, and you just want to kill time by taking a boat ride, I’d like to suggest that you come to the Pohang Canal, take a boat ride , and have some healing time . If you have high expectations, it might not be the best, but if you look at it without expectations , it might be okay. Ta-da! This is Pohang Songdo Beach. But before I tell you about the beach, I want to talk to cyclists about something. I’ve seen some people in Korea ride without headlights or taillights . But when riding at night, you don’t necessarily need expensive taillights. I hope you ‘ll buy something inexpensive that’s bright enough to handle your ride . In some countries, not having these lights can result in fines. In Korea, most cyclists wear safety glasses, but for those who don’t , it’s safer to do so. Let me tell you about this and introduce Songdo Beach. First, isn’t this dome amazing? Let’s go check it out. This is the plaza where the Statue of Peace is located at Songdo Beach in Pohang . I filed a complaint here a while ago. I personally love Songdo Beach in Pohang , but why do we really need these plastic palm trees? Wouldn’t it be better to have a sculpture symbolizing POSCO , the steel industry , or Hyundai Steel, or something like that , representing the economic achievements of the Pohang people through their hard work ? I filed a complaint with this thought, and many people were satisfied and said they had no plans to change it. However, I noticed that while it would be nice if it were maintained properly, in winter and fall, the plastic tends to discolor, and it’s starting to look a bit unsightly. Looking closely, I see that both citizens and tourists are very satisfied with this, so I wish they would manage it better . Anyway, the Haesuyukjang is scheduled to open here in 2025. I’ll talk a little about this as well. What I really liked about Songdo Beach was the bike path. If you look here, they’ve created a separate space for pedestrians next to the road . Seeing this in Malaysia, I thought, ” Wow, they did a great job . I wish Korea had something like this, too . ” Now that Songdo Beach has a bike path, I really like it. Songdo Beach opened in 2025 , and I came here. And I’m a Pohang resident, right? So I came here and saw that they were renting tents and bungalows . Looking at the prices, the tents listed a large bench, table, and sunbed for 100,000 won for an all-day stay , and 50,000 won for a single all-day stay . I’m not a professional traveler. I’m not a professional traveler, and my travels have mostly been to Bali, Indonesia; Phuket and Pattaya, Thailand; My Khe Beach , Phu Quoc , and Saigon , among other coastal areas, in Vietnam; and Antalya and Bodrum, Turkey . Of course , most of those beaches are free, but the prices for sunbeds and such weren’t that high. The only places that are a bit more expensive are club beaches and resorts that charge admission . Of course, South Korea is a bit expensive . Countries like South Korea and Singapore are certainly expensive, but I wondered if these prices were reasonable. This isn’t criticism, but I’m just asking because I don’t know much. If you know, please leave a comment. Oh my! My hair is so tangled , I’ll explain. Pohang Songdo Beach is a pretty nice beach. Personally, I have fond memories of this beach with my wife , and my mother also ran a business in this neighborhood when she was pregnant with me. So, this is a beach I have a special attachment to . I ‘m certainly not speaking to criticize Songdo Beach . However, as a Pohang resident, I’d like to share some thoughts on this . First, there was a sand smuggling incident here in 2019. The outcome of that incident has yet to be revealed. I understand that hundreds of billions of won were invested to renovate the beach . It’s definitely improved. Footwashing areas and showers have been added, and the sculptures and other features have improved significantly. But as a resident, I hope the beach was opened with the goal of attracting more tourists . So, let me elaborate. For example , you can pay to shower here, and there’s a new restroom next to it. But I wondered if there were a place where you could shower for free, like in Bali, Indonesia , or Antalya, Turkey, or Konyalti Beach, where you could just turn on the water and wash in your swimsuit . Am I being too greedy? I wondered. Also, for bungalow rentals, 100,000 won might be a bit high for now, but I’m curious about what the future might hold when more people arrive. So, I wanted to talk about this , and I’m curious about the thoughts of Koreans living abroad, my subscribers, and viewers. I also wanted to show you my favorite beaches, so I decided to make this video . I came here for a quick morning workout, but I’d be remiss if I cut this video short. I’d rather end it here than just one video for today, right? I’ll see you next time . Thank you for watching. I hope you have a fun and happy day.
