Cycling in Japan: Tachikawa Murals or Paint is Not Infrastructure /日本でのサイクリング:立川の壁画やペイントはインフラライドではない
If it ain’t hardcore; it ain’t punk. It’s fashion. If it ain’t a protected bike lane, it ain’t infrastructure. Ride through a Tachikawa underpass, see some murals painted by local kids and then head north alongside the monorail on a painted bike lane. Speed through another underpass in the dark and emerge to meet a car jerk. See the traffic, other bike riders, the monorail zooming along overhead and listen to sounds by Horsemen, Subversive Rite, Sistema Obsoleto and Stress Positions. Enjoy! Peace x
