The video starts in front of Yunosato Parking Park in Rankoshi Town. Hokkaido Prefectural Route 66 Iwanai Toya Line, commonly known as the “Niseko Panorama Line”, is a mountain driving road that runs from Niseko Town through Kyowa Town and Rankoshi Town to Iwanai Town. Of the total length of about 65 km, about 30-40 km of the Iwanai to Niseko section is known as the Panorama Line . It is a winding road with ups and downs, This is a scenic driving route with almost no traffic lights or stop signs. Unfortunately, it is cloudy. We head from Niseko Town towards Iwanai Town. On the Niseko side, the road is made up of long hairpin curves. Near the top of the Niseko Panorama Line is Chisenupuri Pass, and we aim for the parking lot of Shinsen Numa, a tourist spot. If you turn left, you will reach Asahidai. Continue straight. The car will continue to climb. If you turn left, you will continue straight towards Niimi Onsen. If you go a little further, you will find the day-use bathing facility Yuki Chichibu Onsen. This is a day-use bathing facility run by Rankoshi Town and has seven open-air baths. In the open-air baths, you can feel the great outdoors on your skin, and in the women’s bath, you can enjoy a muddy bath. Bathing fee (as of 2025) Adults: 900 yen Elementary school students: 300 yen Right next to Yuki Chichibu is Oyunuma, a naturally rising hot spring. Oyunuma is about 200 m in circumference, and 120 m rises from the bottom of the swamp. Sulfur gas at around ℃ erupts, and the hot gas and sulfur apparently make the swamp water reach about 60℃. The strong smell of sulfur hangs in the air, and white steam rises from the gray-black water, making it a truly hellish scene. On the left is the Niseko Chisenupuri ski parking lot. On the left is “Yuki Chichibu” . The Niseko Panorama Line is a road where riders can enjoy both the scenery and the ride, and on this day many riders were riding on it. Turn right and you will head straight towards “Goshiki Onsen” on Prefectural Route 58. From here, there are a series of hairpin curves. We have climbed quite a bit. We entered the clouds and the fog is getting thicker. The bicycle was working hard to climb. We proceed carefully through the pure white fog. On the left is Mount Chisenupuri. The highest point of Chisenupuri Pass is about 830m above sea level. On the left is the snowplow turning area. The fog has cleared and visibility has improved. On the right is the Niseko Shinsen-numa Natural Recreational Forest parking lot. The blue sky spreads out, as if the fog from earlier was a lie. On the right is the Shinsen-numa Natural Recreational Forest parking lot. After arriving , we had lunch at “43 degrees north” on the way to Iwanai Town.
