Fukushima 2024/10/19 – Mountain talk
gretings from Fukushima and uh kind of in the outskirts of the city on my detroy any I just wanted to uh get a chance to show off the mountain of be not sure if that’s an old uh crater cone sticking up there at the top or not anyway very impressive nonetheless I’ll ride up a little bit here this road is a little busy but not crazy so all I just stopped and had a little snack and uh looking around this is looking North and uh those mountains over there right in city and I’m kind of considering at the end of the ride riding up there to the viewpoint but now that I see how big they are they’re not like they look pretty steep so I don’t know but it would be cool to see the town and everything from up there we’ll see how I feel in a couple of hours when I’m over there I’m assuming it’ll be about an hour and a half or two at the most to get uh this a little detour done all righty it’s uphill here um can’t really tell but I can feel it on the pedals it’ll be back downhill when I come back down into the city zoom in a little bit there those are the mountains there just north of downtown that’s downtown in there so yeah we’re almost uh done the uh eky hunting part of the eky hunt for today there’s two stations on The Detour and then potentially four that I going to do right in the city cuz Fukushima station itself has Jr and two private lines so we’ll try uh this is nice over here yeah that’s quite nice yeah fuk Shima station has potentially three and I’ll hit up one other one so anyway um I think there’s a nice spot to stop I’ll take a picture cat you later
