Dannycycles in Gifu for the first time with his Trek Roscoe 8 gen 3

So the route I’m showing you here starts at the Kashimo roadside station in Gefue Prefecture in the city of Nakatsugawa. It’s pretty far off. I mean it’s pretty remote even for people who like to go hiking like the Mago and Sumagago Edo hiking route which is very popular with tourists is about 30 kilometers from here. It takes about three three and a half hours to get to this area from Shizawoka Prefecture. I I think it’s worth it if you have like three days and uh you can kind of map out the route and really figure things out in the area because I think there’s so many forest roads back there that are like gravel and dirt. It’s just kind of unsettling when you you don’t really know an area that well and you’re kind of pressed for time and it’s unbelievably hot outside. So, I I didn’t really get to do everything I wanted to do, but that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy myself, but let’s take a look at the ride with GPS map for a second. You can see that like basically, I mean, look at all these offshoot roads. Now, whether or not you can go down all these roads is another question, but the route I took, you know, had lots of double track and lots of forks and things like that. The Chu Fuku Lindo is the name of the main forest road that I was I had taken. I had found it on Ry with GPS and I thought that would probably be the one I would take. But halfway through I kind of felt that the road was getting into territory that might have been private land. So I I I decided not to go. Uh I I decided to bypass it for a little bit. Maybe if I were to go again and I felt a little bit more comfortable, I think I would, you know, reread those signs and decide to go in and just explore because other uh motorcyclists uh off off-road motorcyclists have gone through those routes I had seen on their blogs. And so it’s probably it’s probably doable. It’s just you got to have the confidence to go through land that might not be, you know, exactly for the public. This is a shame. Yes, push. Forget nobody. What the Gosh, fish. Heat. Heat. is I didn’t do that. Did I miss a road? No, no, no. Sh. Goodbye. [Applause] ride with GPS Yeah. You don’t It’s another co to you to off. Hi Yes. Yes. Hey, hey, yes. This Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. I don’t know. I was just kind of screwing around with my GoPro doing the slow motion thing. Looks kind of ominous. There’s nothing really happening, but I keep thinking that maybe if I look long enough in the background, some like animal will jump out or some finger will be, you know, float down the river. I don’t know. I don’t It’s kind of cool, isn’t it? Don’t you think Heat up here. It’s one of those things, you know, you’re pressed for time. So, you know, I’d like to actually get better underwater shots, but I just wanted to dip the camera in the water cuz it’s waterproof. One of the reasons why I bought the GoPros, it’s because it’s waterproof, but like I don’t have enough time. I don’t know. I switch into a swimming suit. And then, you know, I just wanted to, you know, play around with this uh high-speed recording stuff. Looks pretty cool. I mean, doesn’t it look cool? I mean, that’s why I did it because I thought it looked cool.

Danncycles does some exploratory mountain biking in Gifu Prefecture. It was friggin hot, so he cut his ride short, but on the next day he went to a waterfall and was like wow. He does some slow mo and fast mo on the Gopro.
