Well, happy birthday, America. We are cruising the streets here in Maggie Valley. Beautiful Maggie Valley. We’re here to watch the fireworks tonight. And right now, we’re just cruising up down the streets on our ebike. [Music] Right over here is the Cabbage Rose. They’ve got tons of stuff. Also a Mexican restaurant in there. Neat place. They got tons of Christmas stuff for sure. There’s a really good Italian restaurant in there and I can’t remember the name of it. They have a lot of neat stores right there. And the ice cream was really good. And that Italian restaurant. This is by the way a great way to see Maggie Valley if you have an ebike. Yeah. Or two. We’re still trying to find something for Karen. Our salty dogs. We haven’t tried that. No, we haven’t. I think we may do uh Country Biddles tomorrow. Look over there. That’s the Cardinal Inn. Bart Craft Barbecue. No vacancy. I mean, it’s crowded here in Maggie Valley. There is Maggie’s gift shop. Look at this elk. Mhm. See it? Yep. Maggie Valley Rock Shop, Gymna. And we’ve eaten here before. Yeah. This is a good pizza place. Brick Brick House Pizza. Burgers and pizza. This is Ripling Waters Creekide RV Park. We’ve never stayed there. Got some cabins, park models. We need to cross over. We’ve never been in Maggie Country Store gift shop. You know it. Yeah. Pretty little church, isn’t it? Yeah. [Applause] Look at her in her little helmet. Oh my Valley. And just on up on the left is Joey’s Pancakes. And they’re really good. That is really good. Pretty River. We’re on the bridge right here. I guess that’s more of a creek. You think? I guess it is a creek. Yeah, it’s a creek. What road you said it was? Camel Creek. Yeah, right there is Camel Creek Road right back there. So, guess what the name of that creek is? Camel Creek. We’re going in right here to Maggie’s Country Store and Gift Shop. It’s a Hillbilly Creek Side Campground. I didn’t even know it was there. Yeah, we’re going to go in the gift shop, though. I don’t know if it’s a long-term campers or not. Yeah. Do you see the rooster up on top up there? Mhm. Happy floors. there. A lot of fun outside stuff, don’t they? Yeah. Hi. Hi. How are you? Riding bikes. Yeah. All right. Just an ebike. Yeah. Well, that’s okay. Yeah. That’s two on one. Two on one. Yeah. Well, you can see it right there. It’s got a seat on the back. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I like that. Is it comfortable? Yeah, it is. Well, what all you see back in here? Oh, look at the bears. Oh, you know me, guys. I love these bears. There’s a bride and groom. This is a fun hat. What’s it to say? This ain’t my first ready quilts and blankets. Here’s some freedom ones we need for today. Yeah. This a cute little place, isn’t it? It is. I didn’t see what I was over here. Looks like Elvis up here. Yeah, I saw that. Look at him. Do you see these down here carrying Maggie Valley critters? Take them home. Ain’t that cute? Look at the critters. Yeah. Nice talking to you. Guys, right here is Maggie Valley Town Hall. Look how pretty those trees are. Yeah, it says it’s 83°. little fountain. There’s a nice breeze. Check out this van. Yeah, it’s old. There they go. [Music] Says all you can eat breakfast on that sign. Oh, really? Country Diddles there. This is Salty Dogs, Seafood, and Grill. I bet they got good hot dogs. So, this right here is good Italian if you’re in the area. Cafe Italiano. That’s really good stuff. They got good ice cream right there, too. Oh, great ice cream. You just got to love all these little mom and pop. Yes. Motel. This is Holiday right here. Look at that. Mhm. Our favorite down there. What’s it called? Is it mocking bird? Uh, I can’t remember. There’s Pop’s Place. Grits and eggs. They’re closed. Pops place. Yep. Breakfast is over. Yeah. Now, one of the water slides that used to be here years ago came down right behind this building right here, Karen. Yeah. Look at there. That’s it. The remains. And over to our left, the stomping grounds. Up here to the right is Maggie Valley Fly Shop. Those guys are really friendly in there. They helped me pick out some flies. Yeah. early this morning. I love their building. Yeah, it’s really nice. It’s like a little cabin with a neat porch. We do elk tours right here. Let’s see. Scenic tours. Well, I guess we better head back and get some smash burgers going. Yeah, we better. Be time for some fireworks here in a little bit. We got the Fourth of July spirit here. We got the flags coming out the back of the van. Here’s my uh fly rod. You can see there. Courtland series combo and packs down to this right here. You guys can see that. So, it zips up and it’ll store away right up under our bed. That’s what I’ve been looking for. Mix up some smashed burgers here. The burgers are down. A little butter on them. They’re all steak seasoned. Kobe Jack cheese butter. Spinach. I’m just about ready. Pull this good juice over here for that. Yeah. Okay, we’re done here. Thought we’d just pull out the other little table here. And since the bike stone’s on the bigger one. Oh yeah, that looks good. Thank you, Lord, for a beautiful day for America and our birthday and for the freedom and independence that we have for this food. Amen. M. Everything looks fresh, too. The bun and the meat.
