vlog | 라이스페이퍼 떡볶이, 바삭한 새우튀김 |👨🏻✈️ 남편 따라 온 해외 신도시에서 장보고 집밥 만드는 장거리 부부 일상 💭 🫧 🤍
Hey friends, good morning! Thanks to my weirdly accurate stomach clock, I’m headed straight to the kitchen. Slicing some for sandwiches and the rest into bite-sized pieces 🍅 Creamy avocado to level up the sandwich 🥑 Wait—this avocado is rock hard… It’s not ripe at all. Literally feels like a stone. Still… I really want it, so I’m trying to open it. Nope. This one’s inedible… sigh Sending it to fridge jail. Sentenced to 2 days behind bars. Quickly (?) gave up and grabbed a veggie with a similar color. Fresh green lettuce from Mom’s garden 🥬 Kane just woke up and is stretching like a champ Next up is chicken breast—lean and light When I want something light in the morning, I go for yogurt or a smoothie But when I need a hearty meal, I love a sandwich stuffed with good stuff 500ml water + 100g chicken breast + 1T chicken stock + 1T cooking wine + bay leaf Boil for about 10 mins and your juicy chicken is done While that cools, toasting the bread with butter 🍞🍞 Time for butter painting 🎨 You just can’t go wrong with butter-toasted bread
(🐽 Nose flaring just thinking about it) I’m not a morning person at all But if I want a good breakfast, I magically become super productive Only in these moments do I turn into a morning person, lol. Skipping meals? Not an option Putting on gloves like a pro Let’s shred the boiled chicken Make sure it cools down first—unless you want volcano hands 🌋 If shredding’s a hassle, just cut it with scissors 2T sriracha + 1T ketchup + 1T mayo + 1T allulose This sauce combo is avocado’s BFF—trust me Try it with avocado—you’ll love it! This is hummus made from chickpeas 🫛💭 So creamy and nutty—perfect with bread Look at that texture… 🫧 Also great with salads or crackers Or use it with tortillas—it’s an amazing combo 🌯 👩🏻🍳📝 Leftover sandwich ingredients + sautéed mushrooms + hummus = tortilla magic Oh right, two slices of cheese is the rule 🧀🧀 And now, in goes the soft egg Piling on the chicken—let’s go big! Wrapped up tight like it’s going to war 🧣🧣 Can’t wait to see how the sandwich cross-section looks 💭 Here’s my super loaded sandwich—looks so good! (Seriously, half of this would fill you up) Today’s drink is oat milk latte It’s light and nutty—my go-to when I’m working 🥜 🤎 Lately I’ve been liking my coffee milder, so I mix a bit of Americano instead of concentrate And just like that, a hearty breakfast is ready! Kane, the statue My little raccoon is already at the table waiting, hehe 😽 Mom, are you here to see me? 😽 You sitting next to me? 😽 Actually, I kinda wanted to be alone… Me, awkwardly checking the vibe before sitting down like a nervous servant Aww aww aww Suddenly, tomato juice makes a surprise entrance 🍅 I randomly craved tomato juice, so I grabbed one (classic mood swing) It’s cold, sweet, and totally hitting the spot 🌤️ I’ve always had a pretty accurate body clock, And turns out my little kitty inherited it too—spot on Huchu usually eats breakfast between 6:00 and 6:30 AM If I don’t wake up, I get serenaded with nonstop meowing until I do I even bought an automatic feeder to sleep in… But he wakes me up on his way to the feeder?! lol Such… a good boy… I mean—such a sweet son 😅 Guess he’s telling his human not to oversleep and stay productive But once I’m up, he eats and goes straight back to sleep 😐 Still, life’s so warm and happy thanks to my fluffy little crew You’ve gotta try this sandwich—honestly, just as good as store-bought (My jaw is struggling to fit it in) Washing it down with tomato juice A delicious, belly-filling breakfast Feeling full, I moved over to the study 👩🏻💻 Today’s edit session features baby Huchu as my assistant But wow, the wind is wild today! The wind was so strong, it almost blew the curtains away (5-year-old Bap Huchu, completely fascinated by the curtains) (3-year-old Kim Kane, full of curiosity) Petting baby Huchu a little Now let’s lock in and focus on editing! Editing with a gentle breeze blowing—such a nice feeling And for the first time in a while, I could really concentrate But looking at the hundreds of videos piled up makes it hard to even start these days 😭 That’s when petting a baby kitty calms both body and mind… Thanks to Huchu always staying beside me while I work It doesn’t feel like I’m doing it alone (My fluffy little coworker 💼) I just want to finish this and say hi to you all! (Been editing for a whole week 😩) Even if progress is a bit slow, editing is always on my mind—so I’ll try harder to check in more often! I’ll keep pushing myself and stay productive 🥹💭🫶🏻 The next day—prepping a late lunch Happily debating how many shrimp to eat Hmm… yeah, that’s not enough Adding two more! Let’s thaw the shrimp in cold water for now Meanwhile, I’ll start on the rice paper tteokbokki 💭 I caught COVID in June and was stuck in bed for almost a whole week 😷😷 Now that my appetite’s back, I’ve been seriously craving something spicy Roll roll roll I’m such a homebody, I have no idea how I even got COVID ; When I told my friends, they were like “How? You never even go outside!” 😭 Still no clue where I caught it… total mystery 😮💨 Might’ve been that big cafe I occasionally go to.. 🥹 Just looking at these chewy rice paper tteok makes me happy Loaded it with cheese Wrap it up like a pro—tuck that cheese inside as you roll 🥲 Five plump rice paper tteok rolls—done! Anyway, everyone please be careful with COVID… It’s seriously uncomfortable and painful (ears clogged, headaches, fever—chaos) (While I grab cabbage, please enjoy the baby raccoon 🦝) But I’m all better now—completely healthy and back to normal! 45ml red pepper flakes + 30ml sugar + 30ml beef stock powder
1T curry powder + a bit of pepper + 0.5T minced garlic + 200ml water Gently mix it all together to make the sauce If it’s too spicy, just add a bit more water Once the sauce starts to boil, add the rice cakes and simmer over medium heat (about 4 minutes) Add in the plump sausages too! Let the sauce simmer down over the rice cakes like a glaze Add a big handful of cabbage and boil for just one more minute Even just looking at it makes my mouth water Totally drool-worthy I always end up eating more cabbage than rice cakes—it’s so crunchy and sweet Sprinkle on some parsley flakes to finish Peel the shrimp I thawed earlier And season them lightly 🦐
Minced garlic + salt + pepper + cooking wine I’m going to make shrimp fritters using rice paper Let them marinate for a bit Cut the rice paper into quarters Maybe it’s age… even a little effort and I start groaning 😅 Smash the shrimp with the back of a knife—done! Now mashy shrimp meets rice paper—it works somehow It actually looks kind of cute Giving CPR to shrimp Feels like I’m putting them in an ambulance… I want to smash them with a hammer but they’d break, so Handling them with care Repetitive labor for delicious bites—let’s go… This slightly silly-looking thing is now complete Fry until golden brown on both sides With fried food, the sound is half the flavor 🤍🤍 Fried rice paper tastes amazing on its own But add shrimp, and it’s basically unbeatable 🥹 (Though making fried food in midsummer means sweating buckets) My hard-earned little treasures, traded for sweat ^^,, Rice paper shrimp fritters are done in a flash 🍤
(So hot right now;;;) Topped it off with parsley Today’s drink is a refreshing orange ade 🍊 I seriously can’t survive summer without drinks Ooh, that fizzy sound 🫧 So thirsty—taking a big sip (gulp gulp) Ahhh— After one sip, refill for the perfect amount Polished off every last drop Time to head to the table! Let’s dig in—bon appétit! Still thirsty, so another drink first 💦 Took a bite of cabbage first Now finally trying the rice paper shrimp fritters I’ve been craving! Tastes like a fancy shrimp snack chip So easy to make and so nutty—I think I’ll be making this often 🫶🏻 Finally having rice paper cheese tteok again after so long 🧀 So chewy and bouncy It cooled down a bit while I was frying, so the cheese didn’t stretch as much But it’s still spicy, chewy, and delicious A bite of the fried shrimp with the spicy tteokbokki = perfect combo 😎 This would be amazing with a cold beer too.. 🍻🤍 😼: Sniff sniff 😼: Wait… is that shrimp? 😼: Mom, I want shrimp too! 😼: Smelling it makes me want it even more! 😼: I’ll wait nicely, but please give me shrimp after you eat Huchu being all sweet because he wants shrimp… I’ll give you plenty after I finish eating 🥹 Watching Crayon Shin-chan while enjoying my favorite food (= peak homebody healing time) While I’m fully relaxed, here comes Mr. Determination Shrimp debt collector, Sir Huchu 🦐 Huchu takes after me—he absolutely loves seafood. We’re both shrimp fanatics Today’s main dish is tteokbokki, but I keep reaching for the crispy fritters The flavor isn’t fancy, but the texture and saltiness make it so addictive Rice paper really is the ultimate ingredient… 🤤🤍 Alright, I’ll finish up the rest of this delicious meal 🥹 The next day… time to prep lunch for work Today’s side dish is crispy grilled chicken thigh 🍗🍗 Let’s season it lightly A sprinkle of fragrant herb salt Let the chicken marinate for a bit while I prep the other sides These king oyster mushrooms are stuffed with cheese 🍄🟫🧀 See? The cheese is tucked right inside 🤍🤍🤍 Cheese and mushrooms—can’t go wrong with that combo 🤤💦 Unfortunately, the caps don’t have cheese inside I’ll grill them up like this First, add the chicken to a cold pan The oil splatters everywhere, so if you hate cleaning (like me), a lid is a must To make it crispy, press it down with a heavy cast iron lid! (Save me) (A little later) With those sizzling sounds, I think it’s cooking well Ba-dump ba-dump Still not enough… let’s bring out the full power of cast iron 5 more minutes under the iron press Flatten it all the way A bit later Now that’s more like it Grilled flat and crispy—so good ❤️🔥 Now it’s the mushrooms’ turn I’ll brush them with yakiniku sauce and grill Add a little water and simmer on low for about 3–4 minutes Golden brown Hey friends, say “Ahhh~” 😋😋 Now let’s pack it all up quickly… only 20 minutes until my meeting 😱 I’m in a hurry, but I get oddly calm while packing lunch Pack it down nice and tight Sprinkle on some mentaiko furikake—my go-to when I’m in a rush Just adding a rolled omelet would make this the perfect rice thief combo After 2–3 hours of meetings, I’m totally drained So I always try to pack something hearty I want to squeeze in one more mushroom… gotta play Tetris Success I wanted to pack kimchi, but the smell… so I’ll settle for pickled ginger And just like that, a super quick lunchbox is ready! Running late but still somehow moving like I’ve got all the time in the world It’s fine—I’ll just sprint like crazy 😂 Grabbing fruit on the way too, lol Alright, now I’m really heading out—full speed ahead! Back home after finishing work… I came back later than usual, and Huchu was clearly upset “You call this an acceptable hour to come home?” “Might as well just move out if you’re gonna be this late” I’m sorry for being late ㅠㅠ I was earning money for your treats!! Today I’m going to see my husband, so I’m up early and moving fast 🙂 We reunited at the airport after a long time apart
(Husband: “There’s a gift in the back too!”) He’s proudly showing off the flowers he brought me We’ve both been so busy we couldn’t meet, but now we finally did The weather’s great, my husband’s here, and I’ve got flowers—it’s going to be a happy weekend Wait… what is he wearing? LOL He looks like a hiking club dad 😂 Since the weather’s nice, I’m taking a walk (and leaving hubby behind) to go grocery shopping
(Not because of the outfit 😂 He just got off a night flight so I told him to go rest) Whenever I’m abroad, I feel clueless—even grocery shopping feels like an adventure What gave me the confidence to leave my husband behind…
(Today’s lunch: doenjang jjigae & spicy pork stir-fry) First thing I grabbed: familiar kimchi Even if I can’t read anything, I’ll always recognize kimchi They didn’t have Korean doenjang, so I grabbed Japanese rice miso instead.
(Yes, I’m that person hunting down Korean doenjang overseas 😂) There were so many types of tofu, like dozens of them. I had no clue, so I just picked one based on gut feeling. Grabbed some eggs too—such a versatile ingredient. And a pack of shiitake mushrooms with a really nice aroma. The veggie section felt pretty similar to back home, so no issues shopping there. Found zucchini that looked a lot like Korean squash. No Cheongyang peppers, but I found these tiny, spicy ones. Picked up chopped scallions and minced garlic in pre-packed portions. I always buy plenty of minced garlic—it gives me peace of mind. Now… let’s try to find soy sauce. (Confidence slowly fading…) Wandered around for like 10 minutes… ended up picking this one. Yogurt is a must even when I’m abroad. Grabbed a pack of pork for spicy stir-fry. Spotted mackerel—what a nice surprise! And one potato to wrap up the grocery run. Wobbling my way back home, bags in hand. My arms are dying, but I’m still clinging to my phone^^ Finally made it home, carrying a mountain of groceries 🏡 I opened the fridge… and found only drinks. Total culture shock. Looks like my husband mostly eats instant food here. So while I’m here, I’ll cook him a proper homemade meal. He said he’s been craving Korean food, so that’s what I’m making. The dish he wanted most was doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew)! But getting Korean doenjang around here is basically impossible, so I went with Japanese miso. Japanese miso tends to be milder and slightly sweet compared to Korean doenjang. It has a smooth and neutral flavor, so it pairs well with lots of ingredients. I considered just making miso soup with it, but I really wanted to try recreating the taste of Korean doenjang jjigae. And honestly, the mellow flavor of Japanese miso turned out really nice! Since a lot of non-Korean viewers watch my channel, some of you might wonder, “Why is she cooking it like that?” But honestly, trying new twists in the kitchen is part of the fun! (Haha… apologies in advance if it’s not authentic 😅) This tofu had a texture somewhere between soft tofu and firm tofu. It was super soft and just slid down your throat—really silky. Now from here on, I’m just winging it and cooking by feel! I dissolved about three spoons of Japanese rice miso in boiling water. Not sure what kind of soy sauce this is…
It had a bit of sweetness, so I added about a spoon of it. Added some hondashi for flavor and a spoon of minced garlic. Then tossed in the chopped veggies and let everything simmer together. Once it started to boil, I dropped in the tofu! Sprinkled in chopped scallions too. A must-have for doenjang stew = chewy enoki mushrooms! ? Secretly tossed in some MSG, haha. Let not your left hand know what your right hand has done. I’m not too confident in the stew, so I’ll at least make a solid side dish. There’s a comfort that comes from cooking in a familiar kitchen, but here I am, fumbling around in a new kitchen, trying to figure it out haha. Who knew even kitchens could make an introvert like me shy? Hopefully I’ll get used to it and film more nicely later on ♥️ Let the eggs cool for a bit, then slice them into bite-sized pieces. Even just rolling the omelet nicely makes me feel… happy… Let’s head to the table now. Next side dish is grilled mackerel. I’ll score the fish so it looks more appetizing. Just a bit of salt—now it’s ready for the pan! Start by grilling the skin side down so the meat stays intact. It helps keep the shape looking nice too. Two precious pieces of fish—earned through an oil-splattered battle. And into the dish they go. Alright, grilled mackerel is ready too. And of course, we can’t forget the kimchi. (Packed to the brim) Looks delicious, but sadly… the taste is a bit off 😢 The kitchen is pretty small and narrow, but for two people, it’s not too inconvenient for cooking. And that wraps up today’s lunch! Let’s enjoy this meal today as well 💕 After a full meal, it’s off to the library. This place is a café-library run by the apartment complex. I spend most of my time here whenever I’m in Taiwan. Maybe because this is a new city, there are lots of foreigners here. Even though I’m abroad, it doesn’t feel so unfamiliar or alien. There are lots of newlyweds and kids, so it’s always a cheerful place. And everyone is so kind and always willing to help. Every time I come here, I feel touched by their kindness. Discrimination exists everywhere, no matter the country, so I’ve always had some fear or resistance about immigration. But being here has really helped me let go of a lot of those biases. After studying, I got a bit hungry again, so I came back up to cook dinner. I wanted to make spicy pork stir-fry for dinner, but I couldn’t find gochujang, so I’ll try making it with soy sauce instead. +One more pack Wipe off the excess blood lightly. Cut it into bite-sized pieces for easier eating. Season lightly with salt and let it rest. It’d be better to marinate it with pepper or cooking wine, but since I don’t have any, I’ll skip it. Even with just simple seasoning, it still tastes great. A ridiculously large onion. (Almost the size of my fist) I planned the menu to use up as many of the ingredients I bought as possible. Some ingredients overlap, but I’m trying to make everything taste different. Sauté the onions until golden brown to bring out the sweetness and aroma. Add about a spoonful of sugar and let it melt in. Coating with sugar reduces the meaty smell and makes the texture more tender. This is a thick Taiwanese soy sauce—it’s more viscous and concentrated than regular soy sauce, which makes it perfect for stir-fries, simmered dishes, and sauces. (Not for doenjang stew though, lol) In goes the meat. Husband: Honey~~ Husband: I can’t believe our house smells this amazing? My husband came home just as the dish was finishing up. He’s probably starving, so I’ll hurry and finish this up (I’m also on the verge of fainting from hunger lol) No matter how hungry I am, I can’t skip the chili peppers. Added in the rest of the chopped scallions too. And tossed in the leftover enoki mushrooms from the stew. Once the enoki softens, the soy sauce bulgogi is done. This is microwavable Koshihikari rice I got from the convenience store. It’s sticky, chewy, and really tasty. It might look like we’re eating huge portions… but it’s just that the bowls are tiny! Let’s head to the table! This is the leftover doenjang stew from lunch. They say stews taste better the longer you boil them— and reheating it really made it taste even better. Husband: Honey~~ Yes~? Husband: It smells so delicious in here! Can you set something up for us to watch? Husband: Oh hehe honey~~ Husband: I was actually just getting it ready! Husband: Honey Yes~? Husband: We finally have seasoning in the house, haha. He was talking way too much, so I kicked him out and finished with scallion garnish. My husband is sitting quietly on the sofa, doing exactly what I told him—choosing something to watch (very pleased) With the rolled omelet I made earlier ready to go, Dinner is officially done! Time to eat—bon appétit! ^O^ I was so happy and proud seeing my husband enjoy the meal.
(Husband: “It’s so good~ I feel like I’m back in Korea~”) This is exactly why I love cooking. You can never go wrong with bulgogi and rolled omelet. It’s the perfect combo for a hearty meal. We devoured a bowl of rice while watching “I Am Solo” together… Dessert? A quick stop at IKEA for some ice cream! Does anyone else wake up at 5 a.m. just because they’re hungry? lol Yep, that’s me. lol Today’s brunch is spicy soft tofu stew! I went grocery shopping in the morning and picked up some minced pork to make it. A neighbor nearby gave me a small portion of Korean chili powder, so I can finally make a spicy stew today! (sniff sniff excitedly) I never realized how precious gochugaru (Korean chili powder) was until I left Korea… This! This is the precious chili powder I’ve been waiting for. I thought it would be easy to get since it’s still Asia, so I didn’t bring any… But nope, it’s not that easy (and the Korean mart is way too far from home ㅠ) Here are the clams—already cleaned. They’ll add that deep, savory flavor to the soft tofu stew broth. Tossing in the zucchini! For extra umami, I’m adding a bit of Hondashi too. Once it starts to boil, I’ll throw in some chopped spicy chili peppers. A bit of enoki mushrooms too. And now, the star of the dish—this silky soft tofu! It’s full of moisture and has a fluffy texture, perfect for soft tofu stew. + Chili powder + Egg Finish it off with some black pepper and we’ve got ourselves a spicy, warming stew. I skipped the usual soup bowl and grabbed a giant one instead. A stew like this needs to be eaten by the spoonful! Gave my husband’s bowl a nice egg drop too. After two days without spicy red broth, I feel so happy now. Today’s side dish is pork ribs! Just the sizzling sound already tells me it’s going to be a rice thief. Once they’re grilled nice and golden, side dish is done~ Lunch is all set for today. Was this the best camera angle I could get? ; (This feels like a hidden camera…) My husband enjoyed it so much again—super satisfying!
(Husband: It’s way better than delivery!) The spicy broth makes the rice go down so easily. The tofu melts in your mouth… totally irresistible. When I first got to our place in Taiwan, we only ate out or ordered food. But doing that for all three meals a day gets tiring fast. Once you’ve had a solid homemade meal, eating out feels more special. With some emergency money from my husband (about 5,000 won hehe), I came out for a snack attack ^^ Even got a sweet drink with the leftover change. Efficient! While studying, I looked up and the sunset was so beautiful I just stopped and spaced out watching it… For dinner, I made a big batch of gimbap! And my husband whipped up a clam ramen—slurp, done. I made extra gimbap to share with a friend nearby. Since she’s just a town over, I’m delivering by bike. Oh no! Almost crashed lol Everyone okay out there? I’ll deliver this carefully by bike! 🙂 Every time I come here, it feels so peaceful and relaxed… Pedaled happily and completed the delivery! Good morning, everyone 🙂 Hope you weren’t shocked by how I look right now..? You’re in the right place—it’s me, I promise… These elephant pants are just way too comfy So I even wear them outside (they’re actually my husband’s pajama pants) ? Today’s lunch menu is curry! Curry is one of those dishes that must be replenished regularly. +It’s also perfect for using up leftover veggies These are sliced pork neck—gonna toss them in the curry I’ll cut them into bite-sized pieces for easier eating Plenty of oil in the pan ~ Oil blast Ah right.. a lot of people have noticed my suspicious belly… Some thought I might be pregnant But… it’s just belly fat! Only belly fat! I guess I’ve just been eating too well… sob We plan to enjoy our newlywed life and take our time before having kids Since we suddenly became a long-distance couple after getting married It’s been hard to plan for a second generation, honestlyㅜㅅㅜ This looks like tempura batter… so I’m going to try making fried shrimp ? I don’t think I’m doing this right… I mixed the powder with water to make a batter… Hope this works? Anyway, we’re planning to take our time and enjoy newlywed life before thinking about kids. Since we’re long-distance right now, we only see each other twice a month. We’re each working and studying hard where we are. We’re just slowly building our future together (no need to rush!) And here’s our shrimp tempura, all done~ + Zucchini pancakes and kimchi are ready too. Meanwhile, the curry’s ready—let’s plate it in a rice bowl. Sprinkle a bit of scallions on top to finish it off. Curry is done too~ Time to enjoy another yummy meal today. – But seriously, the potatoes here are amazing 🥔🥔 – They’re huge! – Like THIS big! – I only bought one~ It’s not a watermelon, but that’s one heck of an exaggeration lol I just realized while editing… I know why I’ve gained weight. I seriously love carbs… and I always eat three full meals. There’s no way I’m *not* gaining weight at this rate. But if I’m going to eat, I might as well enjoy it to the fullest. Wonder when I’ll stop lying to myself about dieting… I’ll eat a lot when I “break my fast” (not sure I’ve ever been on one…) Do you know how to drink on the couch without spilling? Let me show you something genius lol Crunch crunch—am I a donkey or what? Got my head straight and came to the library. Planning to study while enjoying some greenery and sweet desserts. The weather’s perfect… (but you’ll melt if you go outside) It’s the perfect day for waffles! I don’t usually crave sweets or snacks, but today, I had a massive craving… yep, mother nature’s calling ^^ My hunger cues and hormones are too on point—it even surprises me. But wow… this waffle was actually really bad lol I left a piece behind… It’s hard to mess up waffles, but they managed to pull it off! Anyway, I’ve eaten well—now I need to actually study (with some conscience) But after eating all day, the food coma is creeping in… Food coma? One look at your English test score and you’ll be cured. It’s powerful enough to snap you right awake. Let’s just say… I’ll close my eyes to my score lol Wow… I’m wide awake now. (Not crying… I swear…) *sniffle* For dinner, we headed to the night market nearby to grab some bites. Since it’s hot, let’s start with something refreshing to drink. (Gotta start with a drink—always!) As a shrimp lover, I couldn’t just pass by the fried shrimp. I can’t tell if we’re in Korea or Taiwan—my husband keeps replying in Korean lol Even if we don’t understand everything, we just say YES to everything. After some awkward communication, our tasty shrimp finally arrived 😆 Husband handed me the first one while humming the “bamboo dishcloth” tune that’s trending lately lol He may be a little goofy, but he’s really sweet~~ Next up—meat noodles! It was drizzling a bit that night, which gave it a nice street food vibe. We ordered the spicy version, and it turned out to be exactly our taste. Spicy and chewy—it felt a bit like Korean yukgaejang kalguksu. We devoured it—my husband had his face practically in the bowl lol Next dish was our favorite—pan-fried oysters! The sauce was savory and dipping it made it even tastier. It wasn’t crispy like a Korean pancake—more soft and squishy. Kind of like mochi rice cake? That kind of texture lol And to wrap it up—hot pot for dessert! The next morning Spent a happy three days with my husband But now it’s time for me to head back to Korea No matter how many times we say goodbye, it never gets easier 😢 But I’m grateful to come home to these sweet fur babies (I usually leave for about 3 days, and my sister comes over to take care of the cats :)) When I’m in Taiwan, I miss my little meow-meows so much When I’m in Korea, I miss my husband like crazy I really hope the day comes soon when the four of us can all be together 🥹 I shared a bit of both my Taiwan and Korea life in this video—hope you enjoyed it! 🥹 Alright, I’ll wrap up today’s vlog here 🙂 Thank you so much for watching today’s video 🙂
It’s been really hot lately, hasn’t it?
Please take care in the heat and don’t forget to stay hydrated and take your vitamins ☀️
Also, I heard COVID is going around again.
So make sure to wear a mask in crowded places and stay healthy!
I’ve been extra cautious too after being sick all week 😷

I'm not sure if your husband lives near a carrefour/costco – they may have Korean staples there (or at least, they did when I was in Taiwan a few years ago)! I love trying some of your simpler recipes too when I don't feel like eating due to the heat
Thank you for sharing enjoyed seeing both of your home and the different cities ❤❤❤❤❤❤
love your videos! I get inspired from your food when I don't know what to eat. I'm Japanese so it's intriguing to watch what you cook, since it's a bit different from what I'm used to. FYI you're not supposed to get Japanese miso to a boil because the flavors go away.
Do you always wear extremely interesting clothes

Hi, im from Mexico When the avocado is very green, you can wrap it in newspaper or cinnamon bags and put it in a dark place outside the refrigerator. It will ripen in 2 to 3 days. You need to check it daily to make sure it doesn't get too ripe.
