Otsuchi station
I came to Otsuchi Town with my family. The station is in the shape of a gourd. Gourds are here too. The station staff (?) who welcomes you. I wanna ride Sanriku train someday. There was a little pub on the other side of the station. A drink here would be great. Heading to our next destination. Shiroyama-Park. Climb to the view point. Little break (so early lol) View from the way. Arrival at the top. It was refreshing to look down on the ocean! Let’s go to next destination. Namiita-beach. I feel the sound of big waves on my skin. A large rock. Be a peaceful waves, forever. There was also a stylish surf shop. Lunch time! Oh I was reading the kanji wrong lol. Ririsya (I thought RIN RIN YA 😂) The restaurant was already full and
there were 6 groups lined up! Backyard of the restaurant. We waited about 40 minutes. Inside. Japanese modern style with wood. I had decided what to order,
but when I looked at the menu, I was lost! lol. My parents have kaisendon (1,980 yen). Me is sashimi set meal (1,980 yen).
(I changed lol). It was so fresh and delicious! Lias Scenic Line. The plan was to drive around looking at the ocean, but… As you can see,
we were surrounded by trees (so funny). It’s okay because we could breathe the good air 😅. Horai Island. This is the model island for Hyokkori Hyotanjima. It is definitely gourd-shaped! We arrived at Horai Island. I will visit this shrine. The sea is clear and really beautiful. Let’s get close to the waves! I haven’t seen the ocean this close in a long time. Kachan house. At the end of the trip, we go to a local market. Illustrated book of fish in Otsuchi. I was surprised to see so many kinds of fish. Many things from Otsuchi are here. And sashimi! Vegetable seedlings were also sold. Gensui river. We came looking for Itoyo (fish). Otsuchi is the only habitat for itoyo in Iwate Prefecture. There are many small fish,
but are they really Itoyo? My parents are looking for them (seriously lol). Finally I found it! Can you see that? Amazing trip is over! Thank you Otsuchi.We have good memories!
