🇯🇵 福井サイクリング：芦見地区から大野へ 篠尾勝山線・林道美山大野線・九十九廻坂トンネル | June 2025 [4K]
This video documents a scenic cycling journey through Fukui Prefecture, filmed in May 2025. Starting in Usogaguchi (獺ケ口町) and soon heading to the rural Ashimi district (芦見地区) of Eastern Fukui City, the route follows the winding Miyama–Ōno forest road, offering views of terraced rice fields and dense greenery.
The ride then passes through the Kujyuku‑mawari zaka Tunnel (九十九廻坂トンネル) —a 615 m tunnel completed in 2002—which cuts beneath the ridge connecting Fukui and Ōno. Emerging on the Ōno side, the descent winds through quiet countryside roads before entering Ōno city center.
This route highlights a blend of forested mountain roads, agricultural landscapes, and a peaceful arrival in Ōno, showcasing the area’s rural charm and engineered mountain passages.
