The soft sulfur springs of the Noji Onsen Hotel, an inn for hot spring tours above the clouds, are a famous secret hot spring that is considered one of the three most beautiful hot springs in Tohoku. This time, I stayed in a Japanese-style room in the annex with a wonderful view. Noji Onsen, a secret hot spring in Tsuchiyu Onsenkyo, was opened in 1868.It is said that it was founded by a long-established hotel called Katoya Ryokan.After that , it became Noji Onsen Ryokan. The current modern Noji Onsen Hotel was founded in 1974.Then, in 2003, it was renovated and an annex was added, becoming the current Noji Onsen Hotel. The hotel is a 3-story building with a main building in the front and an annex, with 61 guest rooms all Japanese-style.It is the largest hot spring hotel in Tsuchiyu Onsenkyo.The surrounding area is blessed with rich nature, including Mt. Kimen (1482m) and Minowa . The trailheads for Mt. Mt. (1728 m) and Mt. Adatara (1699 m) are nearby.Noji Onsen Hotel has been recognized in the “100 Japanese Hotels and Inns Selected by Professionals”, Rakuten Travel, JTB Rurubu Travel Award, and ` `Travel Industry. The men’s and women’s baths are “Ken-no-Yu” (indoor bath only), and the women’s baths are “Ogi-no-Yu” (indoor bath) and “Hagoromo-no-Yu” (outdoor bath). This is the undressing area. It is almost the same size as the women’s bath. The same goes for the washroom. We have cosmetics for men. Men’s Bath Large Bath Ken-no-Yu You can also see the outside scenery from the large windows. The snowy scenery looks nice ^^ You can sometimes see volcanic smoke rising. The shape of the bathtub is different from the women’s bath, but does it look like a sword? ^^ The bath is spacious and can accommodate about 10 people comfortably. There are plenty of washing areas.👍The sauna is also a full-fledged dry sauna👍Now , let’s talk about the large communal baths where men and women can alternate, and the first one is Senju no Yu, a “100-year-old traditional cypress bath.” I walk for a while through the wooden hallway with a nice atmosphere. The heating is perfect and it’s not cold at all 👍 Senju no Yu and the changing area are all made of wood. It says that you can see smoke from the window. There are many pipes lined up, and beautiful white smoke can be seen. It’s a spectacular view 👍There is a washroom, but there doesn’t seem to be a hair dryer. Large public bath Senju no Yu Senju no Yu is an indoor bath only.The bath is made of cypress, and the entire surrounding area is made of wood, making it a wonderful bath.There is a bench and a window, but… this window actually opens. … While taking a bath, you can sit on the bench and watch the smoke ^^ The bathtub is divided into three sections… This bathtub is the closest to the source, and the freshest water is poured into it. Although the temperature has been adjusted, the temperature is quite high.When I actually touched it, the water was quite hot, probably around 45 degrees Celsius. Even so, this color is attractive 😍 The edge of the bathtub is covered with hot water flowers and there is a strong smell of sulfur 👍 The acidity is not strong, so it is a sulfur spring that is easy to enter 👍 The temperature of the water gradually increases The bath on the other side is far from the source and has the lukewarm water. Senju no Yu is a wonderful bath with an amazing amount of water flowing from the source👍Next is the main “open-air bath that will make your heart dance” When you look up at the top of the Tengu bath, you will see a Tengu mask! ^^ Tengu no Yu, this is the undressing area. There are enough baskets available. A hairdryer is also provided in the washroom, which has a wonderful wooden atmosphere . Tengu no Yu Uchiyu is the famous and main bath at Noji Onsen. There is an indoor bath in the front, and an open-air bath can be seen in the back. The bathtub is a cypress bath and is of sufficient size, making it a wonderful bath. The amount of hot water is also very abundant 👍 The entire bath is made of wood up to the top, which is nice 😍 Washing areas are available here and in the men’s and women’s indoor baths. The hot water is also beautiful and cloudy👍The smell of sulfur is also very strong👍There is a door and an arrow, but you can go to the open-air bath from here. As written on the homepage, it is truly a “soaking bath” ^^ Tengu no Yu The open-air bath is octagonal in shape, and is entirely made of wood. It has a small changing area. It looks like a washroom. There is no hair dryer. Large stoves are installed in the aisles and changing areas. You won’t feel the cold in the hallways, and the entire building is very comfortable.It ‘s a part where you can feel the care taken.The open-air bath, Onimen no Yu, is really amazing.There are large rocks around the bathtub . It has a unique appearance that looks like it has stones embedded in it. The “Noji” logo on the back of the haori is wonderful 👍 The dining venue is Adachi Tara. It’s a large hall with tatami flooring. Seating at tables. It’s a luxurious meal with a menu set out on a plate (^^/ Some of the dishes on the children’s menu have been replaced with children’s dishes such as hamburgers and fried shrimp.This is the menu . .The menu focuses on Fukushima’s local cuisine and ingredients.
