[Music] we’re starting to freeze look at that wow so cute guys [Music] thank you my bike is almost ready here kao is finishing up with his bike and we’ll be all set to go the reason why I was hoping for a sunny day is because we’re going to be riding uh up in the mountains we’re going to be riding across one of the most famous roads in Japan let me just get out of the parking lot and I’ll tell you about today’s plan hey we met another fellow rider from Kyushu he’s from Kumamoto uh we’re going to be visiting Kumamoto later on on this trip woo this roof is so low i don’t want to hit my head here um let me see there’s a gas station here should we go that one lava Pel how much is gas here prebian 174 yen not bad all right there’s seat look at the riders here they’re all on super cups today we’re going to be driving south of Shikoku to the town of Yuhara we’re going to be driving for about 200 km more or less and on the way there as I said before we’re going to be riding across this super famous road in Shikoko it’s called the EU line i believe it’s also one of the most popular roads for motorcyclists for anyone who loves traveling in the whole of Japan it’s called the EUO line because apparently there has been a lot of sightings of euthus in the area so it’s basically a mountain reach that extends for like 27 kilometers and um it goes from an elevation of 1300 m to 1700 m it’s going to be pretty chilly and that’s the reason why I wanted a sunny day you know a clear day because apparently the views from the top the views from that road are absolutely stunning so finger crossed you know we’re not we’re not there yet so the sky has some time to clear up and there’s a whole lot of riders in this town i think that’s because there are lots of popular roads to go touring nearby that guy there with the yellow helmet is shifting gears with his hand like he has the lever right here like the the old Harleyies you i don’t know if you see the the shift gear the lever over there look at [Music] that it basically looks like a long piece of metal i think that’s what he did he just added a long piece of metal with a funny looking ball at the top you know and that’s how he’s shifting gears huh woo well it looks like it’s going to be a very very cold day the sun is not showing up his face i made the mistake of forgetting my winter gloves back home so for now this will have to do eventually if it starts getting colder well I’ll have to figure something or get some uh new gloves w It’s beautiful up here this must be really really beautiful in the spring most of the trees you see here right next to the river are actually sakura trees the cherry blossoms so it will it should be super beautiful um when they [Music] bloom it’s time to wear another layer because it’s getting really cold up here oh I’ll have to buy new gloves we just went across the longest tunnel ever and to our surprise well it’s sunny on this side oh we’re so lucky oh look at this road woohoo this road is so narrow that we need to be careful of the oncoming cars oh my god there’s barely any space for two cars at the same time oh this will be tricky maybe we can go because we will stay here for a very long time another advantage of traveling by bike most of the parkings at hotels are free for motorbikes at least that’s been our experience not all of them but most of them and well you get to navigate these narrow roads with ease car coming [Music] yeah wow it’s all foggy and windy up here look at that oh god yeah since we’re uh going up the mountain and the changes in elevations are pretty drastic uh the weather can change any minute left here look at that EU line the entrance of the EU line they’re hiking trails here as well it’s drizzling and foggy wow well would you look at that it seems promising the sky is starting to clear up a bit hello oh wow whoosh oh we can’t see anything at all you guys 20 m in front of me I can’t see anything this is nuts this was not the kind of day I was wishing for for when we visited uh the EU line but there’s nothing I can do about that right oh my god i want to go ahead but I can’t see anything okay let’s go can’t see anything anymore on these mirrors to make things worse I can barely feel my hands anymore oh poor riders here yeah thank you Look at that the fog is coming down again i’ve got a runny nose now oh I can only see a couple meters ahead of me so it’s like cannot go over 40 kilometers an hour that’s literally the fastest I’ve been going yeah can’t see anything okay ka’s eyebrows are frozen or starting to freeze look at that well you guys welcome to the EU line look at this view my hands are freezing really freezing [Music] oh wow no you guys look at this place wow this is beautiful look at those colors wow this is absolutely stunning wow this fall colors are just absolutely beautiful here man this is beautiful wow look at this beautiful colors at every corner wow nothing kick this this is where we are right now and this is the road ahead of us it’s in the middle of the mountains in the middle of nowhere ah so it looks it’s going to be foggy all the way [Music] we’ve been descending for a while now and the temperature seems to be getting better h my nose is running still though right now we’re heading to the Shikoku carst which happens to be actually one of the most famous cars landscapes in Japan it’s actually on the top three the two other cars landscapes are uh one in Fukuoka Prefecture wow look at this huge door gate wow so one is in Fukuoka Perfeure and the other one is in Yamaguchi we’ve been to the one in Yamaguchi not to the one in Shikok in Fukoka and uh well today we’re going to be visiting the one in Shikoku not sure what this [Music] Wow man wow [Music] wow hey buddies [Music] [Music] wow heat [Music] [Music] woohoo [Music] we are in Yuhara right now this is a very small town uh with a population of just over 3,000 and is nestled up in these mountains and what makes this place actually special is um this town is home to several like very unique wooden buildings so they were designed by a very famous uh Japanese architect who basically uh likes to put a modern touch to its designs and he always uses wood so this place is particularly famous for timber and that’s what he uses uh in most of his buildings let me see here is the main road should we go right or left so there are six different buildings here uh a library a hotel uh the city hall i think this one is the hotel right here uh maybe we can park here let’s go check it out this building is pretty unique haven’t seen anything similar anywhere else [Music] [Music] yes okay i know oh my god [Music] [Music] [Music] how cool is this place [Music] toilet sleeping yeah yeah thumbs up [Music]

when you are driving in the forgy weather, you had to switched on the buzer for many times. it's rule of traffice in Japan.
