  1. Dear Martina, I truly enjoy experiencing Japan through your eyes. Your perspective and local experience always feel so serene and refreshing. I really miss your Japan content and can’t wait for the next episode!

  2. I saw Otaru and immediately clicked on the video! My cousin has been working near Otaru for some time so it's nice to see what you thought about the place. 😀 I've always liked you showing the places you've been to but this one had more meaning. So, thanks!

  3. That green "celery" in the oden looks a lot like Japanese knotweed, it's supposed to have a tangy flavor thought, so not sure if it matches your dish.

  4. I struggled with this one. I needed more interpretation of what the Japanese words meant. I know, they have probably been explained before, but i don't remember. And I presume the word we includes Dan? Or King Kogi? Or just the royal we? Inquiring viewers want to know!

  5. I'm sitting in a hotel on the beautiful Oregon coast, sliding door open to hear the ocean, eating the best green pork tamal and pozole soup I've ever had while watching your vid and listening to your beautiful piano playing. Thank you for helping me make a perfect few minutes! ❤️

  6. Martina, hi!! What would you say is your best Japanese-Chinese spot for fried gyoza? 🤔 Did you have a best and are looking for another one to top it 😂

  7. OK, I’m dead. The start of this video has me laughing so hard because I remember the exact video where you’re talking about. Almost pooping your pants in a taxi from eating too much tempura. 😂😂😂
