🇫🇷 JOUR 11 : Fukuoka – Tokyo 🚴 #asia #japon #tokyo #bikelife #cycling #bikelover
Hi, it’s day 11 from Fukuoka to Tokyo, by bike! We’re Bryan and Sébastien, two bike travelers committed to a good cause: Offering a little escape to hospitalized children in France, thanks to our world tour by bike. After Europe and Asia, we’re now in Japan. This morning, we went back to see the temple monk to thank him. Perched atop a promontory, this Buddhist temple has overlooked the city for over 400 years. We were riding along the seaside when we came across this Shinto temple. According to legend, this Shinto temple was built in 740 AD. And fishermen went there to pray, to be protected when they sailed to go fishing. After this short stop, we continued along the coast with its beaches bathed in light, and also this magnificent little bike path. See you tomorrow for the rest of the adventure.
