Bike Packing Weekend | Hida, Gifu
岐阜県の最北端、北アルプスに囲まれた飛騨市。その中心にある飛騨古川には、鯉が泳ぐ清らかな瀬戸川と、白壁の土蔵が連なる風情ある町並みが広がり、街を少し離れれば、ゆるやかに時間が流れる田園地帯に癒される。今回のバイクパッキングでは、高山市や白川郷に滞在するツーリストを惹きつけている飛騨の里山をサイクリング。サドルにまたがり、この地域ならではの飾らない暮らしや昔なつかしい営み、素朴な伝統を探しにいこう。
Hida City is located in the northernmost part of Gifu Prefecture, surrounded by the Northern Alps. In Hida Furukawa at the center of the area, the clear Setogawa River flows, with carp swimming in its waters, alongside an elegant townscape featuring rows of white-walled storehouses. A little further from the town, one can relax in the tranquil countryside, where time seems to flow gently. For this bikepacking trip, we cycled through the countryside of Hida, which is a magnet for tourists staying in Takayama City and Shirakawa-go. Get in the saddle and discover the unpretentious lifestyle, old-fashioned activities, and simple traditions that are unique to this region.
