2025 05 Tsuchiura RinRin Road & Jomokogen, Minakami to Numata

Golden Week late spring cycling.
May 4th, a cloudy day and rode from Tsukuba/ Tsuchiura RinRin road to Iwase Station, with a north headwind. Started late, and arrive at Tsuchiura station after 12pm. Cycled only 40km to Iwase station. Spent more time on the train than actually cycling.
May 5th started with hazy sunshine, and 12c in Minakami, but the suncame out, and temperatures rose to around 20c. Cycled from Jomokogen towards Takagawa onsen, around Fujiwara lake, and then up to Yubiso Park, looking towards Tanigawadake, and then headed south to Numata for an onsen at 地蔵温泉ゆにーいく, and 3hr train ride home.
