[Submerged Forest at Lake Shirakawa] This lake is located in Iide Town, Yamagata Prefecture. When the dam lake fills with spring snowmelt, the forest on the lakeside is submerged, creating a fantastic landscape. Aioi Bridge / Mogami River Go west on Yamagata Prefectural Route 233 🚴 Otaru Bridge / Omogawa River (tributary of the Mogami River) National Route 121 National Route 121 To Yamagata Prefectural Route 4▶▶▶ First peak🚴 From here, it’s a downhill slope for a while Yamagata Prefectural Route 4 Late-blooming cherry blossoms🌸 ◀◀◀Towards Lake Shirakawa I made a big mistake in the place where I made the turn💦 From here, it’s the hill climb to Suganuma Pass
