歴史とスピードが交差する街中バトル！2025年5月6日、和歌山城を舞台に、国内外トップライダーたちが市街地を全力疾走！1.5km×20周の高速クリテリウムコースでは、直線勝負と急カーブで白熱のレースとなりました。

これは、5月8日から本戦スタートのUCI公認レース「ツール・ド・熊野2025」の熱を先取りするプレイベント！和歌山の魅力を世界に発信した一日でした。

Tour de Kumano 2025 Pre-Event “Wakayama Castle Criterium” Held!

A thrilling clash of history and speed in the heart of the city! On May 6, 2025, top Japanese riders raced through the streets of Wakayama with the historic Wakayama Castle as the backdrop. The 1.5km circuit, repeated 20 times, featured intense battles on long straights and sharp corners.

This event served as a warm-up for the UCI-sanctioned “Tour de Kumano 2025,” which officially kicks off on May 8. It was a day that showcased the charm of Wakayama to the world!
