Ibusuki is located at the southern tip of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture.
It has a mild climate that is relatively warm even in winter and is famous for its hot springs.
It is especially known as a tourist destination for its “sand steam baths.”
The unique bathing experience of being buried in sand heated by the natural hot spring steam rising from the coast is said to be three to four times more effective than a regular hot spring.
指宿は、鹿児島県薩摩半島の南端にあります。
冬でも比較的暖かい温暖な気候で、温泉地として有名です。
特に「砂むし温泉」が観光名所となっています。
海岸から湧き出る温泉熱で温められた砂に包まれるユニークな入浴の効果は普通の温泉の３～４倍といわれています。
