route test Supa Splore Tour Yomitan

Testing some sweet longer epics. Also realized that my Tioga stem has the word “cinch” on it because there’s a hole in the faceplate you can stick a strip of velcro into and cinch down a pb&j!

I intend to test a few routes that will be extra enjoyable for shredders that want a premium Okinawa cycling experience. Yes, there’s road bike and hybrid bike, even ebike tours, but we want to offer a more immersive experience where you’ll really get into some cool stuff and make the toursists jealous. Remember, Cutty Jungle is a service for shredders!!

This particular route involved some gravel and dirt climb, little bit of singletrack, some stairs, some sand, park paths, and sidewalks. Best done on a sweet hardtail. But will also develop some Super Splore Tours that make good use of a 130mm full suss that involves the dh trail and a different kind of castle. Also have a Super Splore Tour in mind for Chatan that also dips into Toguchi beach in Yomitan.

Currently, the Super Splore Tour routes are pretty epic and require 3-4 hours, some steep climbs, and moderate bike handling skills including comfort with stairs. There is a request for gravel bike doable routes and will plan for that also. So stay tuned!
