1月から始まっていた烏山線サイクルトレインに参加してきました。
今回は実証実験で事前予約が必要ですが、乗車賃のみで自転車の持込料は無料になっています。最寄の仁井田駅から乗って終点の烏山駅まで乗ってきました。
車窓の景色を楽しんでいると手を振っている方がいたり、のどかな雰囲気に癒されました。
自転車楽しそうで良いですねと話しかけてくれる方もいて短い旅でしたが楽しかったです。
春の時期など自転車が走りやすくなってからもイベントとして続けて開催してほしいです。
3月14日には駅係員が終日不在となり15日から無人化、宝積寺駅以外は全て無人駅になる予定の烏山線なので活用して盛り上がってほしいと願います。

I participated in the Karasuyama Line Cycle Train that started in January. This time, it was a demonstration experiment and required a reservation in advance, but you only had to pay the fare and could bring your bike in for free. I got on at the nearest Niida Station and rode to the last stop, Karasuyama Station. As I was enjoying the scenery outside the window, some people waved at me, and I was soothed by the peaceful atmosphere. Some people even talked to me and said that cycling looked fun and was a great experience, so it was a short trip but enjoyable. I hope they continue to hold this event even after it becomes easier to cycle, such as in the spring. The Karasuyama Line will have no station staff for the whole day from March 14th and will be unmanned from the 15th, with all stations except Hoshoji Station being unmanned, so I hope people will make use of it and get excited.
