Ouchi-juku, where the snow falls across time, and Tsurugajo Castle
Today, we traveled to the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture.
We drove for about four hours from our home in Kawaguchiko to Ouchijuku.
Following on from Shirakawa-go in the previous episode, we also filmed this episode while it was snowing.
After that, we went to Nisshinkan and then Tsurugajo Castle.

I'm still in the middle of watching this video. It reminded me of my visit to Ouchi-juku last spring. I'm ashamed to admit that it wasn't my favorite part of the trip, but I hope that one day I will be able to appreciate old Japanese towns. I did however enjoy the shrine. It was very peaceful and mystical.
