2025.1.5 2025年恵比寿様の神社へ初詣サイクリング/2025 New Year’s Cycling to Ebisu Shrine
2025年初乗りで、真岡市へ行ってきました。
日本一のえびす様が祀られている縁起の良い大前神社で初詣のお参りをして、真岡市街をぶらぶら観光しました。正月過ぎたとはいえ駐車場はいっぱいで参拝客も結構いましたが、混んでるってほどでは無かったのでよかったです。幸運を齎してくれそうな神社だったので、今年は宝くじでも久しぶりに買ってみようかと思いました。和菓子屋さんは紅谷三宅さんと八起屋さんに行って食べ歩きならぬ食べ走り。三宅さんのどら焼きも美味しかったですが、他のメンバーが食べていた八起屋さんのたい焼きはあんこがはみ出るほど入っていてとても美味しそうでした。和菓子屋を梯子した後、真岡駅のSL館で間近に動いているSLを観賞しました。今回は自転車がメインというよりは観光がメインな感じになりました。とても楽しかったです。

I went to Moka City for the first ride of 2025.
Japan’s greatest Ebisu is enshrined here. I visited the auspicious Osaki Shrine for the first time in the year, and then strolled around Moka city. Even though it was after New Year’s, the parking lot was full and there were quite a few visitors, but it wasn’t too crowded, so I was glad. Since it was a shrine that seemed to bring good luck, I thought I might buy a lottery ticket for the first time in a while this year. For Japanese sweets, I went to Yaokiya with Beniya Miyake and did a food run, not a food walk. Miyake’s dorayaki was delicious, but the taiyaki from Yaokiya that the other members were eating was so full of red bean paste that it was overflowing and looked very delicious. After visiting the Japanese sweets shops, I went to the SL Museum at Moka Station to watch the steam locomotive moving up close. This time, it felt more like sightseeing than cycling. It was a lot of fun.
