台南食物很甜
If you visited Anping fort it should have dawned on you that Western European played important roles in Taiwan's development. Anping fort were one of two forts built by the Dutch in Tainan area when they came to Taiwan in 1624 and two years later the Spaniards also stationed in Northern coast of Taiwan and built a fort in Damsui. This period was marked as the beginning of Taiwanese history.
“We’re excited to eat” 😂 I second that! The building taken over by the trees was amazing and greatly appreciate the historic notes and details thrown in as you guys make your way around.

the circumference of the claimed globe earth at the equator is 24901 miles therefore earth completes 1 rotation on it's axis at the equator in 24 hours
the circumference of the claimed globe earth at the poles is 0 miles therefore earth completes 1 rotation on it's axis at the poles in 0 hours +
the further away north & south from the equator the circumference of the claimed globe earth becomes lesser & lesser therefore the length of 24 hours ( days + nights ) should become shorter & shorter too +
how can there be 24 hours ( days + nights ) at the poles of the claimed globe earth ? +

Another nice video. Hope you also go off the beaten path here & there. Taiwan sites are wonderful, don't get me wrong, but off the beaten path here is surreal!

sunny day cycling❤
😀
have a nice trip .
The ‘swallowtail’ type roofs are of Minnan style from southern Fujian. The majority of Taiwanese are descended from migrants from Fujian that arrived from the late 1600s through the 1800s and brought that kind of architecture with them. It’s different from the more palatial style roofs that came later with the KMT post 1945 (see Taipei Grand Hotel or CKS Memorial Hall)
台南除了夜市之外,有非常多值得一吃的市區小店,牛肉湯及各種小吃。可惜此刻你們已經離開台南,將來有機會再光臨台南的話,值得在台南多嘗試一些食物,台南的食物很棒!
Love how you share your travel experiences in Taiwan! ❤

Everything is, as the saying goes, bigger in Texas. Well, every food is definitely sweeter in Tainan😅.
8:30 Since Confucius is considered the teacher of all teachers, this temple is the place where students visit to pray for good grades, high test scores or acceptance into a top school. If I’m not mistaken, the yellow paper is actually originally intended for making education and learning related wishes. There are several different ink stamps to choose from, and I believe one of them is the souvenir stamp for tourists. I hope you picked the right one, otherwise your wishes may not be granted if they are outside Confucius’ areas of expertise or not under his jurisdiction 😂.
💯
You should try the Taiwanese sausage with raw garlic. Southern Taiwanese has a more sweet tongue. Sugar was a coveted spice in Tainan in the old days. Wealthy and prominent families would put sugar in everything as a sign of their wealth. Over time people adopted to a more sweet tongue compared to more savory tongue to the north.
在台南沒吃到溫體牛肉湯,有點可惜
Super jealous here ! I'm drooling 😋
The people in Tainan are well known, or notorious, for wanting to add sugar when preparing almost every one of their dishes. That explains the high continent of sugar in your sausage. It’s different from everywhere else in Taiwan.
Taiwanese breakfast is my favorite! I don’t think I’ve been to that one but that’s because there’s a traditional market with a ton of food right outside where I stay with family. You can’t go wrong with Taiwanese breakfast though.
Taiwan loves sweet food haha
I love the little alleyways in Tainan. You can tell Tainan is older with all the older style buildings that are just nestled in beside more modern apartments.
Oh no the traffic circle hahah. I’m familiar with that one. I honestly just always walk in Tainan even if it takes me 20-30min. There’s been a change in Taiwan traffic laws to make walking and biking safer, and I could tell last year when I went. Glad biking has been working for you!
Confucius temple area is very cute. My dad went to the elementary school beside it!
I love Anping. The tree fort is cool, I want to go there again. I last went maybe 10 years ago. But my favorite thing in Anping is their shrimp rolls. Next time go snacking in Anping!

4:13 如果你在午晚餐時段經過這條巷子會有很長的排隊人龍,因為路口是家很有人氣的便當店
