It was nice to see these clips. The spring and summer backdrops were a welcome change from the foot of blinding, white snow out my window.😊
Nice and useful video!
I have been to some of these destinations, and others are on my list. On my last visit, I went to Medawy, which is less than an hour from Kings-X. It may not be as picturesque as the other destinations in this video, but it is a gold mine for military-history lovers—the royal docks at Chatham, the royal engineers' museum, and plenty of forts and castles along the way.
Wonderful video 😊 I remember watching full videos & I did really enjoyed so very much as I'm now.
Great video. I remember my childhood in UK. Years ago I'm in my country Pakistan. Be happy . Live well. 😊
It was because of your videos my husband & I visited Bath, Winchester & York in 2023. Winchester was my absolute favorite!!! Many thanks for what you do❤
These are wonderful suggestions. I've visited some of these places and hope to visit more in the future. Thanks for this thoughtful video.
Looks very interesting, So many wonderful towns, villages and magical scenery. Keep up the great work, as we never tire of watching your very interesting videos.
Why Winchester via Paddington? The direct route is via Waterloo! Yes you can, but why?
❣🇨🇦
You can be in Manchester in 2hrs 12min, explore the local totty, get pissed and be home the same day.🤣🤣🤣
Another class presentation. However, for Winchester, depart from Waterloo Stn, not Paddington. It's direct and takes about 59 mins.
I'll be watchig❤
Hermosos lugares que algún día me gustaría conocer .
Saludos
That was a great highlight of some very beautiful towns. I’m sure we’ll find it a handy resource on future trips. (The full length versions of each are 10/10).
Thank you for making my Saturday even more enjoyable. I used to visit London quite frequently and have great memories. You have a very loyal fan base. Keep up the very good work! Your videos are both entertaining and informative. If it is not too late, may I wish you both a happy healthy New Year!
I think a town next to Rye also worth a visit, it's Hastings
A historical town with stunning view from top of hills where accessible either by foot or the tram.
Outstanding! What an amazing compilation of such beautiful, quaint, charming & delightful places to visit. This was truly a joy to watch! Thank you for sharing these remarkable places all together in this wonderful Video! Blessings to you both!
Dont forget to add hours on the Tube to first reach the mainline station 🥸
Thanks for the information 😊
Thanks for another great and informative video.Greetings from Albury NSW Australia.
What a great vlog for England visitors who want ideas. As usual you have presented ideas in do-able visits. Take care =-)
Wonderful video and great information. I love to go to London and adding these day trips is a good idea. The trains are so easy to use!
Thanks again John in Chicago
Many years ago the common thing to do as a limited experience tourist was to get a BritRail Pass, select some central location with the best rail connections (London being a prime example) and radiate out from there. With more experience one soon realized that the process could be reversed – select a smaller but convenient hub with MUCH cheaper accommodation, easy walking to shops and transport, quieter atmosphere and generally a much more restful holiday vibe. The South Coast towns with access to both the coastal railway and lines to the capital and elsewhere are ideal for this.
As this excellent series of videos shows, you are highly unlikely to exhaust all interesting possibilities no matter how often you visit the Old Dart! 😉😊
Excelente video !! 👏👏 Gracias por compartirlo. Buen domingo !! 🤗😘
Last summer, I visited Windsor, it was a beautiful spot..other towns on my Buket wishlist. Thanks for lovely video. 🌷
Beautiful 👍. I've been to a few of these places, but it's always a joy to see them again and all the places I haven't been to yet. I love Englands towns, country side and history. Thank you for sharing 😊
This is an absolute gem! Pinned all on my map, thank you so much!
What about the Roman city of St. Albans in Hertfordshire?
Windsor: I always think it is better reached by train from Waterloo, arriving at Windsor and Eton Riverside Station. The trip is slower but more attractive with two river crossings, including lovely Richmond, and no need to change. The arrival at W&E Riverside is stunning as you exit the station at the foot of the mighty castle walls..
Thanks from Palm Desert, California, for the lovely vid on day trips from London. We always enjoy your photography and commentary, and the music on this episode was brilliant! 😎
The crazy thing is the prices of the trains. Absolutely insane. From my home in south east London to bath is £70!!! I checked and can gly to Spain ( Barcelona ) for just £35… Insanity.
That's not your fault tho 😉 excellent video. I'll be checking out more.
We were just talking about doing this very thing on our trip to London. Also take the Chunnel to Paris. We figure a month will work. We spent 2 1/2 months in a motor home around Scotland, can’t wait to get back over there.
You guys do such an incredible job on these videos! Thank you!
Been there many times and there's a lovely market there we use to have a shop upstairs in the indoor market and I still have family living there
Fantastic I will make some of those trips this year was already in London twice loves the history ❤
Te wszystkie miejsca są niepowtarzalne. Jakie to szczęście, że zachowało się do dzisiejszych czasów tyle perełek architektonicznych. Może kiedyś zobaczę je na własne oczy. ❤
I love this episode. I really enjoy day trips. Now that I have mobility issues and can't do the walkabouts, I thoroughly enjoy your taking us along with you.
Great video guys, I aspire to be this informative
I would more thankful, if you write the name of places visited , in text in your video. Thanks
Hello Simon / Will , great video now a days I think the train is the way to go , car rentals and fuel plus the parking all these cost add up . Thanks really enjoyed this.
