Epic 110km Cycling Adventure In Taiwan! (Biking Taiwan Day 2)

Day 2 Biking 1000km around Taiwain and we may have gotten a little over confident after day 1 (you can watch day 1 here: https://youtu.be/FnbuiHjzeLI). We’re tackling a 110km cycle from Hsinchu all the way to Taichung City, we have some fun stops along the way but most of today is just pushing through the km’s to reach Taichung City before dark (SPOILER: we don’t!).

We rented our bikes from Bike Express, rent yours here: https://2ly.link/22udt

We will be releasing daily vlogs of this trip for the next 15 days so if you’re not already, subscribe and join us on a epic journey bikepacking Taiwan!

If you didn’t know, Taiwan actually has a dedicated cycling route that circumfrances the entire island, it’s call Cycling Route 1, and this is what we will be following (with a couple of detours) over the next three weeks.

Cycling route 1 can be done in just 9 days for those who are really looking for a challenge, but we want to explore all the stops along the way so we’re adding extra days to ensure we not only get challenged but we also get to travel Taiwan in the most unique way possible!

  1. It seems like y’all are forgetting to bring the most important item on your long bike journey, with is some type of Sports Drink packed with tons of electrolytes.

  2. Guys, always fun biking the next day, you fine leg and butt muscles you did not know you had are very sore. Is that goddess holding an I-phone? (Amazing temple) The food looks great but not the duck feet or heads. Max you have advantage over Jacqueline your legs are much longer than Jacqueline's. Do you have a talking translation apt on your phone? Love the channel stay safe. Cheers 🥠🥠🧋🧋😎

  3. Hey great video. Ive noticed a few ways you could improve upon it. Im a Premiere Pro editor with 5+ years under my belt. Im very passionate about telling stories and i love the stories you tell. lmk if your interested!

  4. I'm already your fan and look forward to a new episode every day😆
I look forward to visiting the local cultural and ancient cities and more delicious food when you arrive in Tainan.

There are even steeper slopes on Taiwan's east side, but when you see the beautiful scenery in the east, all your hardships will be forgotten.😊

  5. My advice would be go slower and enjoy the small towns and villages. Seems you are in a race. Stay away from the cities they are all the same. The towns and village people are slow people, not city people. It is two worlds apart. You will pay more or get lesser accommodation but the experience will be totally different. You may as well be taking buses.
