Why I had to quit the Alta Via
Cycling the world – Europe: 178 episode
In this episode of my round-the-world bike tour, I wake up at a stunning wild camping spot overlooking the sea along the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri bikepacking route. Starting the day on the bikepacking.com route, I soon switch to the mountain bike route from AltaVia.info. However, even this route proves unrideable, leaving me frustrated. With an offer from a host in Genova, I decide to leave the Alta Via behind and descend to the city. After a few relaxing days in Genova, I continue my journey towards Marina di Massa, where the next adventure awaits: the Tuscany Trail.

Ciao Davide, purtroppo fare interamente il percorso dell alta via con la bici ci vogliono diversi giorni , probabilmente più di 10 perché appunto molti punti non sono pedalabili, sono da fare a piedi . Purtroppo bisogna fare delle varianti
