2024 final descent La Luge DH , Onna, Okinawa

Last ride of the year
Pretty advanced trail, especially the upper parts. It was Julius’s third time ever on an MTB, and first time on a DH trail. Probably not the most responsible decision to take him here, but from seeing his riding and progression, I knew he’d do really well. On the first run he never fell too far back behind. On the second run I lost sight of him because the gopro battery died and I stopped to change it. But he was keeping up with the rest of the experienced group.

Oh, and don’t take a hand off your bars to mess with your helmet in overgrown sections.
