Tuscany Trail gets WEIRD: remember, it’s not your problem!

Cycling the world – Europe: 181 episode
In this episode of my round-the-world bike tour, I wake up in Volterra, sheltered from the rain under a church roof. Before continuing on the Tuscany Trail, I take some time to explore the historic city, showcasing its beauty and visiting an alabaster shop to admire the incredible craftsmanship of this local art form. After a scenic breakfast with a view, I head out through Tuscany’s rolling hills and reach the heavily touristed town of San Gimignano. Finding it too crowded, I quickly move on, passing through a forest where motivational quotes are placed on trees; some cheesy, some amusing. I continue towards the Castle of Monteriggioni, where a concert fills the area with people and music. Despite the late hour and darkness, I press on, searching for a place to camp for the night.

  2. that guy is a keyboard warrior without a keyboard lol…thinks he has the answers for everyone 🙄 ….absolutely love your commentary…but I have to say this video is making me want to visit Italy .

  3. Hi Davide, I think your cinycal commentaries should be added to those trite writings to make them at least entertaining.
    alla prossima, ciao.

  4. Ciao Grande Davide, una curiosità se posso, con cosa giri i video (GoPro?) e con cosa editi? belle le scritte in bianco di data, luogo e coordinate💪.Buone pedalate

  5. I think Davide is the only one brave enough to tackle biking the Mediterranean . He's a mild mannered Guy, not a dirt bag. But I'm worried about the carbonieri….they must see his presence as a threat to the security of the Land that they must protect for the interest of farm land owners ( like in the Orange Thief)😅😅🩷

  6. Thanks for sharing. Have done the official ''Tuscany Trail Ride'' twice. I feel conflicted though and have stopped doing it. On the one hand, yes the organisers have established a route that opens up a beautiful part of Italy to the masses. On the other hand I question the environmental impact of 4,000 – 5,000 riders all descending upon parts of the Via Francegina and other small tracks at the same time over the course of 2-3 days. Glad you were able to enjoy it on your own and would say that's the best way to do it.

  7. I'm deluded how this chanel doesn't get the hype it deserves. It's probably just a period until people catch up but boy this guy opened some great roads for those who wana escape and enjoy heaven until it all falls apart. I'm at this point in life stuck , I need to work for a few more years and the plans I had in my early 30s are shattered..I guess I'll do it in when I'm 40 such a shame ..it's really breaking me apart, all my life I worked to gather some money for an apartment and to have some left beside so that I can travel by bike a few years . Davide you are Grande ! I wish you could make a video where you tell us how much did it cost you all these years to travel including flights , everything and if you got some back from this videos. I'm sure this canel will get to 100.000 -150000 subscribers in the next two years. Chapeau
