South Korea Travel Hack: Stay In A Love Hotel – Cycling 100 KM From Mokpo To Gwangju 🇰🇷

In this episode, Nick T and I set off from Mokpo, embarking on a 100-kilometer ride to Gwangju. We follow a scenic river trail lined with colorful wildflowers and gently swaying silver grass.

Before leaving Mokpo, we recap our rather eerie night at a local jjimjilbang.

On the way out of town, we stop for breakfast at No Brand Burger, one of Korea’s popular fast-food spots. Curious as to how it compares to McDonald’s? We find out!

No camping tonight. In this video, we checked into a hotel and were surprised to see what we got in our little gift baggy.

Thank you so much for watching! If you enjoyed the video, please don’t forget to hit LIKE and share your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear what you think! And if you haven’t subscribed yet, I’d be incredibly grateful if you did.

There’s a lot more to come in the Bike Touring South Korea series, so stay tuned!

  1. Eating from the bone and drinking the broth from the bowl, sun-tinted skin, beard, wild hair in a ponytail… oh yeah…absolutely solid to me no matter how the food tastes 😋

  2. Thank you for the video, Nick and Macho Man! You were right to use hot water with the scorched rice, but I think the rice was burned a bit too much. When that happens, it ends up tasting like ashes. It should be just scorched enough to bring out its savory flavor. I miss the cosmos flowers and reed fields in Korea.

  5. Did you guys have good time in the love hotel? I am curious about it. 😝😝😝Youngsan river bike path is so peaceful and beautiful that I want to ride a bike along the road someday.

  7. 6:37 You said correctly. It is true that the word "Gang" means river, but You should say Youngsan-gang river not Youngsan river cuz Korean Gov allowed reduplication to respect the proper nouns of Korean. It's the same as we say the Mississippi River though 'Mississippi' already means "the great or big river" in indigenous language.

  8. May be. . .
