Japanese Soy Sauce Icecream Countryside Cycling Adventure! #japanesefood

Join me on a 66km cycling journey to Kawagoe for an unforgettable treat – soy sauce ice cream that tastes like burnt caramel, hidden in plain sight among the tourist spots!

In this video, I cycle 66km to Kawagoe, my favourite cycling destination, for an incredible reward – soy sauce soft serve that tastes like burnt caramel!

Made by a 100 year old soy sauce factory, this hidden gem is easily missed by tourists flocking to the famous bell tower, Starbucks, and sweet potato shops. But trust me, this secret treat is worth the ride. Watch as I explore the iconic shopping street, grab the ice cream, and savour it against the beautiful backdrop of Kawagoe’s Edo-style streets.

After a scenic ride back along the riverside, I even encounter a surprise guest – a snake on the path!

Check out the full adventure and don’t forget to explore my other Kawagoe cycling videos!
