The Most Fantastic Cafe in Namibia 🇳🇦 vA 152

I ride from Windhoek to Rehoboth, in Namibia, in Africa.
As I exit Windhoek, I meet Elago Nantana, an very friendly man who walked across Namibia, and hitchhiked his way around Southern Africa. His mission in life, helping Namibian men who intend to commit suicide by showing them that life has a lot to offer if you go out there to challenge yourself.
After climbing the hill outside of Windhoek, I stop for lunch in a wonderful padstal where I meet some very friendly French tourists, and where I discover for the first time the wonders of South African cuisine.
Finally, I finish my ride to Rehoboth in a guest house with a very friendly hostess.

  2. Hi ..

I am a born Namibian, living abroad. I like your videos on YouTube. I wish you all the best and be safe. Namibian’s are very friendly and loving people.

  3. Love your videos would like you Tip people that woman was so nice she let you charge your Battery would off been nice a little tip for her

  4. Hey Yves ,I remember the guy from Cape Town who stopped for you who had a electric bike/aircraft company maybe he can help with the battery problem you..Enjoying my road trip with you Cheers

  5. I have always wondered about your knees, you mentioned the trike can be worse than a bike… do you suffer from pains or are you at risk of wearing your knees out? 😞

  6. Man you never cease to make me laugh. That bobotie went down fast. I am impressed with the interaction with the French tourists. He had a great story too. Also the guy who champions men’s mental health is a hero.

  7. I didn’t realize you were born in Saint Raphael! My first proper experience of France was going on vacation to Cap Esterel which is very close by to there! Beautiful area!

  8. It’s always interesting to see the difference between now Kino talks to locals vs. the Europeans he encounters

  9. I’ve been following this man, and I didn’t know we have Elago in Namibia who pursue this challenge , what you guys are doing is really a great mind therapy that clears the mind , body and soul

  10. The cafe owner is wonderful! What a cool lady. One day I want to run a business as well as she runs hers.

  11. Sorry about the battery issue, Yves. Hope you get a replacement the soonest. The chat with Elago and then with the French guys at the cafeteria was captivating.

  12. I was randomly checking the website of those guys who lacked compassion and kindness by refusing to help you and they just posted a warning on their website, I guess they're not assuming their decision after all, that's an even more shameful choice from them, they're hurting Namibia's reputation.

  13. Yves once your journey is over you need to do a food channel ! The way you enjoy the simplest meal makes your videos for me , keep it going 💪

  14. Morning my friend. And warning my friend….be very careful on your bike when you enter South Africa. It has one of the highest crime rates in the world. Do research on routes first before you travel.

  15. Wonderful majestic views Yves. Lots of great encounters on this stretch of your journey. A reminder that people always make the difference to a persons life!
