Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, he joined a local talent agency at the age of 7 and started his career in the entertainment industry. He has worked in commercials and advertisements for local companies. He says that he was a delinquent who didn’t fit in at junior high school, didn’t go to school much, and would go out at night on the back of a motorcycle.
