Living the High Life in Botswana 🇧🇼 vA 141

I ride from Kasane to Pandamatenga, in Botswana, in Africa.
On the way, many people warn me about the dangers of wild animals on this road, and I meet a couple of elephants and a few giraffes.
As I reach a lodge in Pandamatenga, a group of funny kids surround me, amazed by my trike. In the lodge, I enjoy some luxury food before diving deeper into the bush… tomorrow.

    I have been following since last week when his video "first impressions of Botswana" popped out in my feed. I was curious to see how strangers view us but i was pleased that he liked our country. I have been viewing his other videos from Eithopia to Kenya and thoroughly enjoyed them. For your info guys, the northen part of the country is more expensive than other parts of the country. Thats because there is more tourists going there. I'm sure he would find similar accomodation from Francistown all the way to Gaborone for P350 (about $30). Enjoy our beautiful and peaceful country Yves. We like you guys!

    stopping to have lunch under a tree, on the side of the road in the middle of the african savannah is so wild 😭🤣 i remember how many animals i would see every time i took this road. i admire your bravery my friend

    Hello Mr Yves. Here is some advice to you , to help feel better on your bike. After you come to your final destination Cape Town< you should do some upgrades for your bike. Trust me it will help you a lot.
    1. Change tires for semi-slick. Because your way back by western side of Africa faces more worst roads. It will rise your overall ground clearance and reduce bumpiness feel.
    2. You should change your rear shcok. You need shock with pedal platform adjusmtent. You are lose so much energy when you are pedaling and your suspension is bobbing.

    Can you notice the change of scenery… man this is incredible work of the almighty God is truly great. It's so vast….. even the type of "Africans" has changed…. accents are becoming more "muntu " like….😅

    It's amazing how Africans still have so much love and care, even for strangers! People being concerned about your well-being is rare in many other parts of the world. Oooh, Africa, keep this going . It's a huge part of humanity that should be kept alive. My heart is filled with warmth seeing all the people stopping, just to check on you❤

    Id swap my life to live in Botswana any day of the week! Lodge is superb. I really like the savannah and the vegetation. The ride looks fantastic. I was just thinking youve done more to educate the ignorant west on Africa than any other channel I know. Can you say something about the language in this country?
