Stranded in the Pyrenees: Reaching Andorra (60th Country on This Epic World Tour)
Cycling the world – Europe: 168 episode
In this new episode of my round-the-world tour, I find myself stranded in a mountain hut in the Spanish Pyrenees, taking a day to chill while thunder storms rage outside. Once the weather clears, I’m back on the road and reach the 60th country of my expedition: the Principality of Andorra. Here, I leave the El Piri bikepacking route and, after a night of wild camping in the valley beside a river, I begin the tough climb up to 2400 meters to cross the pass into France. My destination is Carcassonne. Before reaching Carcassonne, I meet a local cyclist who has just completed his own round-the-world bike tour.

The upside down signs are a by farmers protesting about diesel prices & other issues. I seen this a lot cycling in the north.
I love it: sweet real estate in the cemetery 🤣
As per usual, love your postcards!!!!
No fountain ? Go too a cemetery, there is tap water
5:43 Hey my Italian, friend. I hope you are doing well.
Do you use any specific light when you pitch you tent in the dark. Thanks
Davide, nice to see your journey again. I just got back from a tour in western Canada. Always nice to be home. Loved today's trip (of your's. Travel on my friend.
Great image of the cross with the lighted building in the background ~ great seeing!
The upside-down signs of towns is a protest of farmers in France. I don't know what they protest, but in France they protest everything, all the time. Great video, thanks!
Yeah! Thunderstorms in the Pyrenees are awesome (if you have cover)! Enjoy!
Leaving your flysheet to be quickly deployed. Great English, man!
