Barcelona to Girona the Hard Way: the struggle is real

In this episode of my round-the-world bicycle journey, I leave Barcelona and head towards Girona. A heavy morning rain delays my departure, so I take the easy route out of Barcelona, following the bike lane along the coast. As evening approaches, I venture into the mountains and find a quiet spot to camp. The next day and a half are spent exploring the trails in the Parque del Montnegre y el Corredor. Navigating the park proves challenging, especially when it comes to finding water and a suitable campsite, but I eventually find shelter under a roof—just in time for a night of heavy rain. The following day, I make my way out of the park and arrive at a vineyard where I take a day to rest. The final leg of the journey, descending the hills before Girona, is incredibly tough, and I get lost multiple times.
