I got a quote from the store and the parts were delivered, so I’m heading there to have them installed. I think I turned left around here! ? Although it was still early for my reservation time, I arrived. The shop opens at 10am, and although it’s 15 minutes before opening time, it’s already open. This is K-max, a motorcycle pro shop located in Ichibancho, Atsuta Ward, Nagoya City. The shop is run by former Yamaha professional rider, Haga Kensuke. His younger brother is professional rider Noriyuki Haga. The shop has a bright and calm atmosphere with plenty of sunlight. And the 1998 YZF750 is on display. In the pit, a fan blows air onto the falcon to cool its hot engine. Actually, I’ve been wanting to install a radiator guard for some time now, so I contacted motorcycle supply stores and motorcycle dealers, but all the shops said things like, "We’ve never done Hayabusa before, so we won’t know the labor cost until we try it." When I was told this, I hesitated. However, K-MAX was the only one that answered the question about labor costs right away, so I decided to have them install it. The work is completed in about 1 hour. I installed a radiator guard and oil cooler guard made by Etching Factory. This is the genuine oil cooler guard that came with the Hayabusa. After much consideration as to which radiator guard would be best, I decided on the Etching Factory. Radiator guards are produced by various Japanese manufacturers, but in fact, most of them are made by Etching Factory, and each manufacturer commissions Etching Factory to make them. I think it’s the best choice because it’s an original product from the company that makes most radiator guards. Kensuke Haga also recommended Etching Factory.
