Spring 2024 Ben’s Bike Trip 5/5 Ben arrived in Hyuga, Kyushu!
hey everyone it’s me again made it to kushu I’m here at Huga something Huga I think but on the beach on my way to the Kima harleydavidson to change oil and have him look at my chain and uh so last night camped out in a free campsite as soon as I got off the ferry started start looking for something cuz it was starting to get late so I made it to um I had to drive through the city for a little while and I got out in the countryside and started things started looking better so I camp out right here somewhere several places I thought was wild camping uh could have snuck in there here and there in some places but been worried about uh bear in that area and um wild pig and of course monkeys too seen a dead monkey sorry sorry for the monkey but it’s cool I got to see one and here just over the hill I just took a picture of it is a nice little uh simple little shed this some this guy built and uh he’s got some fruit trees down there and um honeybees so he’s doing the Japanese style uh honeybee boxes show I don’t know if you can see it from here but you got like 10 of them over there and there’s his little fruit trees that’s cool got lots of bees the hair and hu and kushu and Shoku I noticed a lot of flowers bees I’m sure they do really well around here even with all the chemical spraying but still stop spraying chemicals anyway uh I’m here taking a break it’s hot had had convenient store breakfast [Music] again lots of bikes too everybody’s got their bikes [Music] out most everybody waves at each other when they go you go [Music] P okay yeah uh starting to have a lot more fun on the bike I get in these twisty Parts I put it in sport mode well you got to hold on you you put it in support mode go around one of the corners and uh give it some gas after that boy you got to hold on it’s damn good feeling and it holds them curves boy this beautiful bike I like it just don’t like the way it sounds this but uh it ride’s great I’m having a good time only my seat can you see this what I got for a seat lost my sheep skin so I put them towels there what I need is a tall boy seat to make it more comfortable I feel like I’m sitting on my nuts all the time I’m sliding forward it’s not comfortable at all so you got to put you something under underneath your I call taint t no t no so it’s in the middle there so uh yeah fits right there and makes uh little bit more comfortable next long trip I’m going think about a new seat this might be my last big trip with this bike uh he has May to seller and you get something smaller and not go so far away at one in one time but uh okay so I guess it’s enough of me yapping talk to you later bye
He arrived late last night, found a free campsite and pitched his tent there – talking southern scenery and bees and all!
