Wazuka Explorations | The Green Tea Land
My bike ride from Kyoto to Wazuka was shrouded in thick fog, and I felt quite nervous biking on the slippery roads. However, once I navigated through the mountain pass leading into Wazuka, I was greeted by breathtaking views of green tea shrubbery.
Of course, I couldn’t resist trying the local matcha, which was delicious as expected. Yet, what excited me even more was exploring the quaint green-tea-producing town and its charming scenery.
Surprisingly, I still had the energy at the end of the day to explore Kyoto Station.
