[CC] 일본, 솔직히 혼자만 알기 너무 아까워서 풉니다 l 일본 여행 브이로그 EP.02
Hi. [(My cheeks are puffy early in the morning.)] I arrived at Shimoyoshida. Maybe I’m too early. None of the stores are open yet. If I take photos and go to a coffee shop, I think the stores will be open by then.
[Mount Fuji… I came all the way here to see you.] It looks cool. [(This is the view that made me plan this trip!)] I think I have to wait in line to take photos.
[A very popular photo spot… Tourist version Kim Diyom can’t miss out on this.] I’m going to wait in line, too. I went to the main Shimoyoshida street. There were a lot of people. So I came to an alley. [(Ta-da)] Of course. This was a hidden spot.
[My tip is, if you go to the alley a block away from the main street] Rather than only walking around the main street, [you’ll be able to admire the view in peace and take photos! (You can see Mouth Fuji very well.)] going in alleys and finding hidden spaces is fun, too.
This area is more quiet and nice. (Recommend the alley) [I took photos exactly the way I wanted to!] [A coffee shop where you can enjoy Mount Fuji with coffee and brunch] [I came into this coffee shop to avoid all the people on the street.] [The atmosphere of the coffee shop was the best!]
[I warmed my body with a warm cup of coffee.] [A living shop in Shimoyoshida that sells interior pieces and furniture] [This was a select shop that was the most unforgettable on this trip!] This place is beautiful. [(Am I in heaven?)] This is my heaven.
[This is the store that people flooded me with DMs about as soon as I posted the Story! / The sunlight shined through beautifully!] I want the table mat so bad. [Those who like living supplies, you must visit “LONGTEMPS”. (Be careful not to fall in love.) This wood plate is also pretty. It’s light.
[The first floor had living supplies, while the second floor had wood furniture.] [They had so many wood furniture and plates that I liked] [so this part has more clips.] [I even love their room slippers.] [I bought plates, tableware, tablecloth, teaspoons, cups, coasters, and etc..]
[(A place as dangerous as Don Quijote)] I spent 24,000 yen. [Today’s lunch is] [at a local restaurant called “Mimasu”, which is cozy like a grandmother’s house in the countryside.] [(I googled restaurants near LONGTEMPS and came to this one. I think it’s a famous local must-eat place!)] I came to a local udon restaurant.
[This is my first time experiencing Japan’s tatami and kotatsu.] They have tatami. [I get why Crayon Shin Can’s family liked using kotatsu.] The tatami is really warm inside here. The tamago udon I ordered. It is only 600 yen. [Udon, cheaper than shoes!] It’s really cheap, isn’t it?
[A steaming bowl of Tamago udon (looks like something out of a cartoon)] [The texture of the noodles is completely new!] [The noodles do not cut off dry, but they’re chewy at first and then cut off.] This is really good. [To the owner of the restaurant, please live a long and healthy life.]
I napped for a bit. I even changed to go to Lake Kawaguchi. A cute wool jacket with warm mini pants. [Cute and warm shoes] These shoes are very warm. They’re so cute, aren’t they? [A lake with a great view with Mount Fuji in the center]
[I was looking forward to this lake.] It’s beautiful. To be honest, this place would be nicer to ride a bike around in during spring, summer, or fall. (Just not winter) This is a popular drink in Japan. I bought this to take nice photos here. But I’m giving up because I’m freezing.
[A girl that gives up very quickly] [It was freezing so I stayed briefly. I’m off to grab dinner!] I’ll just go eat. [A restaurant that specializes in griddle dishes, famous for their okonomiyaki] [I stopped by this place yesterday, but there were too many customers that I wasn’t able to eat.]
[I didn’t want to miss out on this one, so I made a reservation the day before.] [They even have a 4.6 star review on Google!] This looks insane. [Do you see the melting cheese?] [Those who like cheese egg rolls must come here.] [It was so delicious that my head was numb.]
This tastes like a giant cheese stick, but it is three times more delicious! This is so good. This is the best. The second dish [Pork perilla leaf rolls that look like tripe] This is a pork roll with vegetables inside.
[This is what happiness is like.] The food here is so good. I’m so happy. This relieved the fatigue from today. The third dish [Griddled wagyu with so much marbling] This is wagyu. It looks so good. [It is tender and comes with a sweet sauce. It tastes very savory. It was the best.]
The last dish is okonomiyaki. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of okonomiyaki. [My face is glowing from the griddle.] But this is good. (My mind and body tend to work separately.) Maybe I’ll come back tomorrow. (Repeat Restaurant) I should make a reservation for tomorrow. I’m curious of the other menus, too.
[(I ended up making a reservation for tomorrow.)] This is truly the best. [Griddled ice cream! An ice cream-taku that finishes Baskin Robbin’s quarter bucket all by herself can’t miss out on this.] This is griddle ice cream, everyone. Isn’t this so unfamiliar?
[It was really good, but it didn’t taste any different.] This works somehow. This is it for today’s meal (food fight in truth). As soon as I opened my eyes…
[Starting the day with hot spring! / (It is early in the morning, so I’m puffy.)] There is a hot spring with a Mount Fuji view called Yurari Hot Spring. [I’m bringing my bath products, makeup products, and everything.] I’m taking all this stuff tthere. I’ll go and get myself together.
[An outdoor hot spring with a Mount Fuji view] Everyone, I arrived at Yurari Hot Springs. The hot spring is really in the mountains. [If heaven was real, this would be my heaven.] It is surrounded by mountains. These are the prices. There are (expensive) waters shaped in Mount Fuji and other drinks.
[Milk is the one for hot springs.] I’m going to drink this one. [They also had cute bath towels.] I guess they also sell bath towels! These look like towels. [I want to show more, but I’m not allowed to film inside.] [Kim Diyom came back all put together.] There is a loft
[If I were to describe the inside, which I wasn’t able to show] inside. There are two floors. The first floor has a cave bath, carbonated bath, and etc.. The second floor had an outdoor bath. There are six baths and two saunas inside. I went in and out of every single one
For two hours. [Let’s go get lunch.] Bye. [An udon restaurant called “Kuranosuke”, which was peaceful and affordable] [This is a udon restaurant that I googled after the hot spring.] The prices of the udons are very cheap, aren’t they? (Around 500~600 yen) I ordered beef burdock udon.
[Unintentionally eating udon for two days in a row] I guess the noodles [This neighborhood had a lot of udon restuarants.] in Japan’s udons are all like this. They’re very thick. The udon restaurant’s noodles in Japan are heavy and thick. [(Is this the real Japan udon texture?)] This really…
It’s right in between kalguksu and sujebi. [I remember the chewy texture.] But it’s also bouncy. It is about 3:30 p.m. here. [I hear the crosswalk BGM in Kawaguchiko, too.] The coffee shops here close very early. All of them close at five. (A nation that gets off work sharp) I hurried to come out.
I’m going to go to a coffee shop. I’m going to read the book that I haven’t been able to read and relax. [A warm coffee shop in a small countryside town] [I guess coffee shops are rare in Kawaguchiko. (There weren’t as many as I thought.)]
[I found this when I was walking around the neighborhood. It was a coffee shop that felt warm.] [Achieved the goal of reading on a trip with the closing time right ahead! (To be honest, I didn’t read for more than a few minutes.)]
[At Zoo again today (Not the same video as yesterday)] Surprisingly, it is a different day. I enjoyed the food so much yesterday that I made a reservation at 6 p.m. today before I left the restaurant. [Made the attendance today!] [I ordered dishes that I didn’t try yesterday.]
[(I should come back to Kawaguchiko just for Zoo.)] It looks really good. [Their seafood okonomiyaki tasted better than their ordinary okonomiyaki!] [I love you, Zoo. I’m sorry, but please be open forever. I’ll be back.] I’m leaving for Tokyo. [Bye, Kawaguchiko!] See you. [(I haven’t started my trip in Tokyo, but I’m already excited.)]
I arrived in Tokyo! [(Loud and crowded)] It feels quite different. I feel like I moved to the city from the countryside. I came to Harajuku. (The shopping hell has begun once again.) I’m going to stop by Human Made, and go shopping. [Human Made, Blue Bottle] [You can purchase cute cups and merchandises.]
[I bought the Blue Bottle x Human Made cup that is only available here.] [Next is Ripndip, which I’m happy to see from my memory of visiting their store in LA.] [I went in with excitement.] [They were cute, but I had nothing to buy.]
[Beams, a select shop you can’t miss out on in Japan] [Everyone… Am I the only one?] [It is harder for me to choose stuff in stores like Beams.] Welcome to the blackhole of knitwear. [(In the meantime, their knitwear is pretty.)] This knitwear is very cute. (But I didn’t buy it.)
[I only looked around at Beams and quickly went to get lunch.] Found a cute one. [A ramen restaurant that is nice to have a quick meal in] I just came in a ramen restaurant I saw.
[Although it had a 3.7 star review on Google, there was a waiting list.] All the seats are taken. I’m finally having ramen. (On my sixth day in Japan) After eating udon for two days in a row, I wasn’t craving hot soup, so I ordered tsukemen.
[(Now that I think about it, I’m having noodles for lunch again.)] Tsukemen. The char siu is very thick. I’m going to dip this in the soup. [Yum] [It was better than I thought.] This is good.
[I’ll remember this as a place that is nice to have a quick meal in while shopping in Harajuku.] [The biggest Ralph Lauren flagship store in Asia] [Everyone, I recommend visiting Ralph Lauren even if you aren’t going to buy anything!] The aesthetic is insane. In the meantime, the thing I want the most is
[(The price isn’t cute at all.)] that teddy bear. [Found a beautiful knitwear that looks like a piece of art] Doesn’t this look like a piece of art? It looks like an expensive, well-made rug. Even the buttons are nice. (But I didn’t buy it.) This is Purple Label. [I thought I misread the price.]
Should we check how much the purple hat from Purple Label is? [Purple Label, see you in the next life.] [Although I didn’t buy anything, the store was decorated brilliantly that my shopping urges have been fulfilled!] Polo’s rug is the prettiest. [This is the Shiro store located in Omotesando.]
[I heard they’re trending these days in Japan.] [Feels like Tamburins!] [Their scents are very unique.] These are very nice. [These didn’t smell familiar.] [They felt new.] I like the scent called “White Tea”. [(My Loopy card is working hard in Japan as well.) / Got a perfume with a refreshing scent!]
[A vintage shop called “Vintage Qoo Tokyo” in Omotesando, which Chanel manias love] [I visited this place last year in September during my Tokyo trip. I liked it, so I came back!] So pretty. [The accessories were more expensive than the bags.]
[These were so beautiful that I couldn’t take my eyes off them.] These are so pretty, aren’t they? [Bank – Can’t Have You] Vintage Dior [Looking around while being out of my mind] Cute. [I found the exact thing I was looking for!] This is so cute. This is a vintage Celine bag.
[I was looking for a Boston bag to keep in my car.] Since I drive around, I carry two bags with me a lot of the times. [What do you think about this, everyone? (Asking after purchasing)] This would be useful at those times. This is cute. [I found a treasure this time as well!]
Omotesando looks beautiful at night. The sun went down after I came back from shopping at the vintage shop. [Shopping for about 5 hours] It really burned me out I was in a small city And came to Tokyo I thought I was out of this world and a bit cleared up
That’s not it, I’m getting more greedy I’m really busy moving around [I finally came to PUEBCO in Shibuya Parco Department Store] [It’s a recycling living shop using recycled materials] [This is a brand I have had a crush on for a long time] This would look cute if you eat yogurt in it
[I purchased the yogurt balls at this time, that often appear in my vlog] [The price is cheap, so I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for souvenirs!] [Even the bag it came in was a recycled bag] They give me a recycling bag You can use this
As a shopping bag at home too [Walk around Shibuya Scramble Intersection] [After doing some more shopping] [This is how I end the day] Today I wore completely in white With ‘TIME’ short jacket and The bag is white The pants are white I’m going to go to Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku
The staff helped me to test This scent was really good I should buy it next time (You, wait for me) I bought this one I got the Ava bag in black color There is a reason why they say Celine is a Japanese specialty
[I purchased the Celine Ava bag cheaper than in Korea (approximately 800,000 won including tariffs)!] 900,000 won? cheaper compared to Korea So I bought my bag and I also bought a card wallet to give as gifts To friends I appreciate throughout the year
I finished my shopping spree (the Loopy card is crying out loud…) [For lunch, I came to Agio Restaurant inside Isetan Department Store] I came in to eat completely exhausted [Isn’t it time to get sick of Japanese food?] I’m eating too much Japanese food right now
[I’m getting a little sick of Japanese food…] I don’t have a craving for Japanese food and [I came to Agio Restaurant because I was really craving the wood-fired pizza! / (distracted Kim Diyom)] I came to a wood-fired pizza restaurant called Agio on the 7th floor of the department store Avocado… Shrimp… Something salad
[(Awkward)] [Eat salad on bread] [The taste of being happy already] [I ordered Agio Pizza, a signature menu item at Agio Restaurant] Bon apetit [It was similar to Korean bulgogi pizza] The staff recommended this, so I ordered it and it is delicious The dough is really thin
[It’s been a while since I filled my stomach with delicious Western food!] If with this thickness, I could easily eat 4-5 pieces [I said that I was full, but I went straight to the desserts] Croquette! [(It hasn’t even been 10 minutes since I ate)] This looks really delicious Fruits sando
[Japan also has delicious desserts (Excuse 1)] This is crazy Japanese people were waiting too long in the dessert line (Excuse 2) I’m just going to try one too (Just say that you wanted to eat it) They say it looks like this
[I got the Hokkaido milk sand!] I chose the basic double cheese flavor It’s pretty Let me have a bite Suddenly mukbang [(Realizing the reason for standing in line…)] It’s really delicious [Suddenly feeling a little embarrassed] I’m a little embarrassed because I ate it on the street, so I’ll turn the camera off quick
This is Blue Bottle in Shinjuku Here is when I was 21 This is the first Blue Bottle I came to, on my first time in Tokyo [At that time, Blue Bottle wasn’t even in Korea] There were only two in Tokyo After I tried first
[I thought, ‘Wow, how can this latte taste this good’] It was memorable because it was so delicious… It feels somewhat new to me And at that time, I didn’t have enough money for shopping I wanted to buy it, but held everything off I thought I would come back later and buy it.
[I’m talking seriously, but the brightness of the electronic display in front is…] Now that I’m that age, I feel somewhat new [I feel sad for no reason…] I think so Everyone looks at me as they pass by [(The weight of attention that must be endured to become a professional YouTuber)]
I’m working this hard on it, everyone [Kushiage restaurant located on Shinbashi Station’s under-the-bridge drinking Street] [Kushiya, a kushiage restaurant that we barely managed to get into because all the surrounding restaurants were full] There are all kinds of skewers Since I don’t know much, I’ll try the set first
I need to order something delicious as an extra For a drink, I should have a glass of green tea The atmosphere is really crazy I think it has the most local atmosphere of all the places I’ve been to
[I sit right next to the owner and watch him frying, putting pressure on him…] He said I could film [Freshly fried food would be delicious even if you fried your shoes (I haven’t tried it)] Freshly fried fries can’t be bad, right? I’m looking forward to it
[This time, I chose Shinbashi for my accommodation in Tokyo, and the reason is!] When I first booked here, I really liked this street [(Refer to the intro video for this part) / After seeing the under-the-bridge restaurants right under the subway on Instagram] The fact that there are many restaurants under the tunnel
[This is a place I wanted to visit during my trip to Tokyo this time] I wanted to come because it was fascinating and exotic [(Praise myself)] I think it was a very good choice I also recommend finding accommodation in Shinbashi! If I come back, I’m willing to stay here again first menu
Tofu cheese Katsuobushi After eating it It is not the tofu cheese It was tofu-shaped cheese… (failure) Fried food is here He explained it to me, but I don’t really know Baby corn Quail egg Yum? I think it’s ham or fish cake It’s not ‘ham’, it’s ‘yam’
[(I don’t like yam, but fried yam is delicious…)] delicious [The batter is very thin and feels like it is sticking to the ingredients] First of all, it’s delicious [It’s a taste that you can keep eating without even feeling it and can overeat indefinitely]
[Actually, this time it was a blind test menu that I chose based on intuition because I am illiterate] Chicken tenderloin [The chef explained everything one by one…] Isn’t this so cute? [(Everything was delicious, but the best was the freshly fried shrimp)]
The last dinner was a great success in terms of taste and atmosphere I’m so happy. Today is [Seven days and eight nights passed by in the blink of an eye.] the last day of the trip. I am around Nihonbashi. I wanted to look at Akari lamps, which is why I came over here.
[I am a weather fairy.] Today’s weather is very nice. [Isamu Noguchi’s lamp showroom] [Isamu Noguchi’s Akari lamp shopping, which I’ve been looking forward to the most for this trip!] These are so pretty. I only see the standardized round lamp in Korea. These come in many various shapes.
[I was in awe from the beauty.] So cool. [(Loopy (card), get ready. It is your time to shine.)] [I felt overwhelmed like I was looking at an art piece.] I feel overwhelmed by the atmosphere. There are huge lamps, too. The size of this is really big.
[I’ve thought of placing a large standing lamp at home if my house was big.] This is the size of my hand. These also come in colors. These are very unique and beautiful, too. Which one should I buy? (A happy thought) The one I was thinking about in Korea was this one,
[This one’s beautiful. That one’s beautiful.] but this is also very unique and beautiful. The oval-shaped one is also very charming and beautiful. I should’ve brought an extra luggage. (Loopy: S… Stop…) Every single one is beautiful. But the one that would suit the space that I’m living in
[Since my house is small and precious] is this series. [I made a difficult decision, but a lot of them were out of stock.] [All of the ones I wanted were sold out. I’m sad.] They don’t have anymore of the standing lamp that I wanted.
[I didn’t know at this moment.] They only have the hanging one. [That I’d be surprised when I open the box.] Still… [(Refer to episode three)] I bought it for 16,500 yen. [Naka-meguro] Among the places I’ve been to until now, Shinbashi also felt new, but Nakameguro, Daikanyama, and Ebisu were nice and quiet.
Those who like to look around quiet places and pretty select shops like I do should visit this neighborhood. (This place has a lot of places to shop here and there.) It’s fun. Found very pretty plate store while I was walking by (I walked in without even thinking about it.)
There are a lot of cute shops like this. So there are so many places to see. [Found a cute plate] Isn’t this cute? [I would’ve been in trouble if I came here the first day.] This is so pretty, isn’t it? [It was fun to look around!]
I was looking for a place to eat in while walking around Nakameguro until I smelled a very delicious hamburg. [A hamburg restaurant I found by following the smell (This is the trip of a P.)] That’s why I stopped in front of the hamburg restaurant. When I searched it up,
Yamamoto no Hamburg is a franchise, so it is located here and in many other places, too. [Look for one nearby!] [How could a spoon holder be this cute?] [The server nicely explained the ingredients in the juice (kawaii)] I like healthy juices like this. This is a salad but it has noodles inside.
[I missed salads after only eating oily food.] This is so good. Since I kept eating oily food, I was craving a salad like this. [The food I ordered was their signature hamburg!] This is insane. It looks so good. There is gorgonzola cheese inside this. [Look at it.] This is insane.
[The aroma of the meat and the gorgonzola cheese was harmonious and very delicious.] My last meal is a total success. This is so good. [Feeling very good thanks to an affordable and hearty meal] [The last coffee shop I found spontaneously after eating!] It says “Mametora Nakameguro Distributing Station”,
But you could also buy coffee beans, so I came. [You can see them roast coffee beans, too! Those who like coffee must visit this place!] They sell different kinds of drip coffee bags. I don’t know much about coffee, but I’m going to buy one that I want.
[The iced cafe au lait that I ordered] I ordered an iced cafe latte. Now, I’m going to walk around a little bit more. I have to go catch a flight soon. I’ll go back safely. Bye. [Everyone, the last moment of my trip came.] Everyone, I’m going back to Korea through a night flight.
[Whenever I get on the plane, I always get excited to meet someone I know by chance.] [My friend in college was a flight attendant!] [(Why does this in-flight meal that I haven’t had in a while taste so good?)] [I enjoyed this trip until its last moment.] [Bye, Tokyo. I’ll be back.]
