Hyacinth Community Day, March 2024 | Pikmin Bloom

Mmm… Bloom Buds! Hello! Today is Saturday,   March 16th and we are not live whatsoever  from Noshiro City in Akita Prefecture for… Hyacinth Community Day! Not only that, it’s also Litten  Community Day over at Pokemon Go. Actually, I didn’t think that we’d be  able to make a video today because…?

I’ve been very sick. I’ve had  the flu for the past two weeks. Today is the first day, thankfully, that  I’ve had even some semblance of energy. So, I was thinking today let’s have a nice chill  Community Day, we’re gonna walk out to the pier.

I thought looking at the ocean would  make me feel a little bit better. Even though on paper my symptoms aren’t so bad,  but I haven’t been eating or drinking very much. I’m so happy today, finally I ate a nice pancake  breakfast, been drinking some water again.

Feeling much, much better,  but still gonna take it easy. And speaking of hyacinths, it’s actually my  Animal Crossing New Horizon’s local flower. -I’m happy we each now have our flowers. -Yeah, my mums and your hyacinths! Yeah, so aside from going all the way out  to the pier and seeing the nice sunset,  

We are also hunting for a Giant Mushroom.  At least I am, I know you got yours, right? Yeah, all my friends invited me today, so thanks guys! But I still need one more, so  let’s get a Giant Mushroom! We’re here now at our shrine.

Not the usual isolated one, this one  is also isolated but a bit down there. So, first thing’s first, while  we’re here, let’s detect. And I just need two more Shrine Pikmin. Now I’ve been hunting and hunting,  I need one white and one pink.

So hopefully I’ll get either of  those. How’s your collection going? -I still need a lot! -A lot more? -Not two. -Yeah, it’s the hardest set to collect, so… Alright, we have a lot of steps to get in. -Let’s go. Sick or not, it’s Community Day! -Let’s go!

We’ve just made it. Don’t you  have any idea what that is? It looks unassuming, but this  place holds a deep secret! Right here, in front of this yellow thing, our detector will change from 50% between  Park and Shrine to isolated Shrine. Sometimes you have to reset  the app, or it won’t work!

Here we go. There it is! Isolated Shrine! Just need pink or white. Yellow. It’s always yellow! Ahhh! I’m not gonna be as dramatic as Johnny  since I still need a lot of Shrine Pikmin. So let’s just use it. I got… I got blue! I’ve already completed blue, red, and yellow.

Well, better luck next time! We still  have 8,000 steps to go, so let’s get going. Since it was Litten Community Day, we decided to  stop by and see the neighborhood cat, Appo-chan. Unfortunately, it seems like he wasn’t home. Perhaps off on his own Community  Day adventure somewhere? Here he is from another time!

He’s quite the character and  always follows when called. His other favorite hobbies include sleeping on  people’s laps and rubbing against my bike tire. It didn’t even take very long and we’ve  already come across a Giant Mushroom. So, I’m actually gonna try to hit  this on the way back because right  

Now my squadron is all tied up  in another mushroom right now. I don’t think anyone is gonna  end up touching this one. Probably, this one has about an hour  left, we’ll be out there somewhere. Maybe I can find one out there, but if not,  

I know on the way home, I’ll  have this one to fall back on. Let’s get going. Where’s my Tunnel Pikmin? We just got an idea for a new Pikmin Decor type! Introducing… Tunnel Pikmin! The Pikmin will be wearing a  helmet with a little light on it.

So, please Niantic, it would be so cute! On the way to the pier is  Noshiro’s very own planetarium. It actually had some renovations  since the last time we visited. It included a bunch of cool  interactive games for the kids,

Which means it was the perfect chance to test our  ability to follow simple instructions in Japanese! We had to charge the rocket  boosters by taking steps on   the mat and then making a pose like a rocket! A convenient activity for getting our steps in! After enjoying the games on the first floor,  

We had a look at the more sciency  stuff on the second floor. Although it was too difficult to understand,   it was still really cool seeing  all the replica space machinery! I was feeling pretty tired from my  first big walk after being sick,   but there was just a little more to go.

So we pressed on towards the final goal, the pier, which could barely be seen in the distance! As you can see, it’s the end of  the road, it’s all barricaded off. We can’t go any further. It’s the end of the Community Day as well,  

We both ended up getting our badges just  as we got to the end of the pier here. You can just barely see a  little bit of the sunset left. Overall, I’m feeling a little bit  better, just being outside, for once. After two weeks of being cooped  up and just sleeping all day,

It felt nice to take a little walk outside. So, thanks, Pikmin Bloom! Yeah and we also got our Litten  shinies. I got five, how about you? Yeah, I got four in total which is way  more than I thought I was gonna get. I was barely playing that game.

Yeah, five isn’t a lot for me  either, but good enough for now. So, I guess it’s time to head back  home, edit this video, take a big rest, because we’re about to go on a big,   big trip to Fukuoka for the next  Pikmin Bloom Tour, spring edition! It’s spring!

I’m so glad I didn’t get sick for Fukuoka! I’m happy to be sick beforehand as  long as I’m healthy for our big trip! Yeah. Let’s get going! -Ahhh! Let’s go! -Bye!
