Winter is almost over in Japan, where I live. The cold days continue. I run errands in the morning and relax in the afternoon. I value spending time doing what I like.Today I will carefully brew coffee. Careful work takes time.But I enjoy trying.

Concentrate and carefully pour the hot water. The scent and sound of coffee will soothe me. I wait quietly until the extraction is complete. I bring coffee in my favorite tumbler.I put on a jacket to protect myself from the cold. I’m going out with my bicycle.

Although this beach is busy in the summer, it is very quiet at this time of year.The sky is cloudy today. Coffee time I was looking forward to I like to go out on my bike with my coffee. And it is also an end in itself.

予定を済ませた午後、自分の好きなことに時間を費やす。
丁寧にコーヒーを支度し、自転車で小さなお出掛けをする。

のんびりジオパークの海岸沿いをサイクリング。
海を眺めながら持ってきたコーヒーでゆっくり休憩。

自分の好きなことに時間をかけて過ごす。
手間や時間のかかることこそ大切に愉しみたいと思う今日この頃。
