【林道ツーリング@森町】 確認してから工事しなはれ!/Check before you start working! (Dirt Trail Tour JPN) Vol.180
New video every Friday at 7:00pm(JST) Please subscribe! Now let’s get this week’s Rin2 Ch. started! After having avenged ourselves in the hill climb, we’re checking out the branch line of the Obi-Dainichi Line. Last time we came, this branch was a dead end,
But it’s been a while, so there might be some changes. Here’s another branch. Go straight first. “There’s another on the left.” I guess this branch was not here last time… Go straight here, too. We tried drone filming here before, but couldn’t get decent footage with the toy drone.
Oh, half of the road has collapsed. And it dead-ended at the same place as before! We got in the branch that wasn’t here last time. It was a dead end, so we’re heading back. At the sharp left turn, which I don’t like, Then… The hand guard is dead.
It’s made of plastic, so it will crack after 5 years of use. Took the first fork to the right. There’s a long ditch that would be troublesome if you fell in. “Oh, this is.” “terrible” “terrible” We’re still going! “I don’t want to climb up here.” The road surface is loose here,
So if it’s a dead end ahead, it would be tough to go back. Oh, looks like it opens up ahead. “It’s a crossroads.” Roads ②, ③, and ④ were dead ends, so go for the last one, Road ①!
I saw a glimpse of the guardrail of the pref. road below, so maybe it’s connected. Looking at the GSI the map, the pref. road is about 60m below. “It’s going down about 10m with each sharp turn.” Looks like he saw the guardrail below, but there’s something before that.
Fallen trees were blocking the road. So, move the tree out. One more. When finally the road was made, “There’s no road there.” All our hard work ended up in vain! Or you should check if it’s a dead end before you start working! Then what did you do?
Then we came back to the main line of the Obi-Dainichi Line. This trail is mostly flat. However, there’s a section under restoration due to a partial collapse. And I heard that it was not possible to pass through. But let’s try going anyway. “It’s really dusty, isn’t it?”
Sorry about that. By the way, the blue sky and the trail, it’s a beautiful view. This is the restoration point. Since today is Sunday, there’s no work going on. Last summer, this place was like this. And it has been beautifully restored.
There’s another spot further ahead that was more collapsed, but judging from this state, that area seems untouched yet. This place was like this. “Oh, it’s been quite restored.” The safely passable area has been widened considerably. “They widened it for us.” That’s not true!
Lunch at the rest spot of Haruno-yama Daikou-ji Temple! There’s not much snow this year in the Southern Alps. After lunch, we came to the so-called Bull Square on the Sagano Line. And there the DT200WR stopped in the middle of the hill for some reason! “It won’t rev, no rev at all.”
It seems like the plug is fouled, so replace it. Replaced the plug just 4 months ago… Once changed the plug, it started right up. This place has become much easier to go through. Since my WR was in great shape,
I was blasting ahead at the front, and then… something happened behind. Now take a look at the camera in the back. The 3 guys in the back were also blasting. The DT125R went down pretty hard. The clutch lever broke off at the base,
He had a spare lever with him (smart!), so everything turned out fine. After that, we rode back home with a peaceful speed. Well, that’s it for this week, bye! Please subscribe!
