青春18きっぷで関西本線に乗って名古屋まで行ってみた。

“Misato’s Journey LOG” begins. Hey guys! It’s Misato. This is Oji Station in Nara Prefecture. It’s just before 6 a.m. in early January, and it’s still dawn. It’s early in the morning and many trains are still parked. Today, I’m going on a day trip on the 5th day of the Seishun 18 Kippu.

Please subscribe to the channel. Please press the final date at the ticket gate. He lost it once and it fell into disrepair, but he held on until the last day. My Seishun 18 Kippu. This trip, we will be heading to Nagoya on the Kansai Main Line.

It’s a leisurely 149.3km journey with the Seishun 18 Kippu. So, first of all, I took the Oji 6:04 train to Nara. There was a small table by the window of the 221 series I was riding . Arrive at Nara Station in 16 minutes from Oji Temple.

The 7-Eleven next to the Nara Station ticket gate had not yet opened. The next train is bound for Kamo, but since the train before Kyoto will take you all the way to Kizu, I decided to take that train. Regional rapid train bound for Kyoto departing at 6:29.

Change trains at the second station, Kizu. I entered Kyoto Prefecture from this station. During the transfer, I uploaded another video where I was able to see the pantograph sparking on a winter morning due to frost clinging to the overhead wires . This time I will take the train to Kamo.

The sky in the east is finally getting brighter. Broadcast: “Next is the last stop, Kamo, next is the last stop.” Maybe the next stop is the last stop? Maybe the next stop is the end? If the announcement sounds like you lack confidence, it’s probably because you’re tired (lol).

We arrived at Kamo Station in about 6 minutes. When you arrive, you can catch a glimpse of the lamp hut from the days of the Great Buddha Railway. The train bound for Kameyama stops opposite the same platform, so you can change trains there. This train bound for Kameyama is a single-car train.

Inside the train, the seats were full, and there were only a few people standing. The train departs from Kamo Station at 6:54. Broadcast: “This train is bound for Kasagi, Iga-Ueno, and Tsuge.” “It’s a one-man car bound for Kameyama.” The train

Is on a non-electrified section, and the atmosphere completely changes from the one leading to Kamo. The Kiha 120 engine also roars as it moves forward. Kasagi Station, the first stop along the Kizugawa River. The old overpass is still working hard.

After leaving Kasagi, the flow of the Kizugawa River continues to the left side of the train window. After running for a while, the train slows down. This is a slow-moving section with a speed limit of 25km/h.

If you look closely, you can see that a lot of the ballast has returned to the soil. The special slow section ends before crossing the Kizugawa Bridge. At Okawara Station, I mistook the train for Kamo. After passing through the Okawara “large” tunnel and the Okawara “small” tunnel, you will arrive at Tsukigaseguchi Station.

It is the nearest station to Tsukigase Bairin, but it seems to be quite far to the south. Kyoto Prefecture ends at Tsukigaseguchi Station, and shortly after leaving the station, you will enter Mie Prefecture. After passing through a section where there is a thin layer of fog and frost, you

Will arrive at Shimagahara Station. Here too, we exchanged trains for one car bound for Kamo. Next is Iga Ueno. There is a slight uphill slope that you will cross. In front of Iga-Ueno, bright sunlight finally came through. The Iga Railway tracks approach from the right and stop at Iga Ueno Station.

It was during the morning commuting time, and there was a train change every time I arrived at the station. As a result, there were quite a few people standing inside the train. Starting from Iga-Ueno, the train runs through the Iga Basin for a while, so

There are few curves and gradients, and the train picks up speed. Sanagu Station is also open (simple consignment) in an old wooden station building. At the next station, Shindo Station, there is a brand new black building next to the station. The library opened in November 2023.

After driving through the Iga Basin for a while, the train took on a mountainous atmosphere, and when it merged with the Kusatsu Line, it reached Tsuge Station. At Tsuge Station, this train stops at platform 3, where Kusatsu Line trains arrive and depart. The train departed after stopping for about 2 minutes.

After leaving Tsuge, there is a steep section that goes over Kabuto. The entrance to Kada Tunnel has a retro feel that makes it hard to believe that it is an active tunnel. After passing through the tunnel, you will see the platform of the former Nakazaike signal station.

The remaining ruin-like buildings may also be former signal station-related facilities. Pass through the Kada Tunnel and continue down the slope. Kada Station is 8.9km from Tsuge Station and takes 10 minutes. From Kamo to Kameyama, Kada Station and the next Seki Station are apparently the only unstaffed stations.Other than Iga-Ueno Station, the stations

Are simply consigned and are sometimes unstaffed, but it is nice that they sell tickets at the station. is not it. Even after leaving Kada Station, continue descending along the Kada River. Seki Station is the closest station to Sekijuku on the former Tokaido. The station building is a recent and splendid one, but

It has an atmosphere befitting a post town. You can still see the mountains, but it feels like you are at the edge of the Ise Plain. Drive through the Kameyama Interchange on the Ise Expressway at high speed, and

On the right you will see solar panels lined up at the former freight yard site. In this way, we arrived at Kameyama Station in 1 hour and 22 minutes from Kamo. It was so much fun that I forgot I had to stand for nearly an hour and a half .

Next is a local train to Nagoya with a 10 minute wait time. I sat comfortably on the convertible cloth seat and ate bread for breakfast for a while. When we finished eating, we arrived at Kawano Station. The train runs along the north side of the Suzuka River, bathed in the morning light.

After leaving Suzuka River, you will arrive at Kawarada Station. From here, the Ise Railway branches off towards Tsu and Suzuka. Minami-Yokkaichi Station is full of Yokkaichi-ness, with red and white chimneys reminiscent of industrial complexes. Next is Yokkaichi on the premises where you can see many tank cars.

The red and white chimneys and smoke look great against the blue sky after winter. At Tomita Station, exchange for the 315 series. At this time, I saw the 315 series for the first time on the Kansai Main Line. When you leave Tomita, the Kintetsu Nagoya Line and Sangi Railway Sangi Line cross over.

And once again, the Sangi Railway Sangi Line is overcrossing and hectic. After leaving Asahi Station, take your time as you cross the Inabe River. Since the line between Asake Signal Station and Kuwana Station is a single track, it seems that they were waiting to be exchanged for the Mie Express train going down.

Stop at Kuwana Station while looking at the Sangi Railway Hokusei Line on your right. After a 10-minute stop at this station, the limited express Nanki 2 will depart. This was also the first time I saw Nankigo’s HC85 series. Idling is stopped when the car is stopped, and

The engine is started again after the door is closed before starting the car. Nanki 2 will arrive at Nagoya faster than this train, 14 minutes. The train left Kuwana Station in the blink of an eye, even though it only had a 10-minute stop. Just before crossing the Ibi River, I passed the Kintetsu Limited Express Ise-Shima Liner . It runs

Parallel to the Kintetsu Nagoya Line, crossing the Ibi, Nagara, and Kiso rivers . The Nagara River Estuary Weir can be seen in the distance. At Nagashima Station, you can see Kintetsu Nagashima Station right next to it. After crossing the Kiso River, the Kintetsu Nagoya Line will leave you. And Yatomi Station.

From this station you will be in Aichi Prefecture. This station connects with the Meitetsu Bisai Line, but it is not visible from the train window on the opposite side. Between the next station, Eiwa Station, there was the Shiratori signal station, where the train bound for Kuwana was waiting for a change.

It stopped at Eiwa Station and Kanie Station, Enter Nagoya city from Haruta Station. At this station, I was waiting to exchange the Rapid Mie train. After crossing the Shonai River, the train runs parallel to the Kintetsu Nagoya Line again. The lines of both companies run side by side until Nagoya.

After this, the Kintetsu tracks will move to the left side of the train window and will no longer be visible from here. There seems to be some construction work going on under the elevated structure in front of Hatta Station, but it looks like construction work on the subway. . .

What kind of construction is this? At Hatta Station, I was waiting to exchange for a local train bound for Yokkaichi. When I left Hatta Station, I could see the JR Tokai Nagoya Factory and Sasashima Live Station on the Aonami Line. Eventually, we passed under the elevated Aonami Line and Shinkansen and

Arrived at Nagoya Station. The trip took 3 hours and 52 minutes from Oji Station in Nara Prefecture. The journey on the 5th day of the Seishun 18 Kippu will continue a little longer, but I would like to continue this in another video. Look forward to seeing how far it goes.

Thank you very much for watching until the end this time. Thank you for subscribing to our channel. I would be happy if you could rate it as well.
