New video every Friday at 7:00pm(JST) Please subscribe! Now let’s get this week’s Rin2 Ch. started! On the final day of 2023 autumn trail ride tour, we came to Nakatsugawa, Gifu Pref. First, we’ll take the trail so-called “Chufuku line,” officially named “Matsuo Kiso-dani line”!
In about 6km, we got in a branch line. The GSI map says that this trail connects to Kiso-dani line as a shortcut. You can also see what looks like a road in the aerial photo. Can we really make it through? I was wondering so, then… However, after going about 800m,
It was a dead-end at a sabo(sand control) dam. What looked like a road ahead on the aerial photo was a river. Back at the main line (Chufuku line). Actually, we’ve been here around the same time last year, but the autumn leaves had already fallen,
So we came a week earlier this year. But we came a little too late this time, too. “It’s kind of hard to ride.” “Maybe the rear suspension is not working properly.” The reason became clear right after, “Oh, I got a flat tire.” So, fixed the flat tire.
This guy had another flat tire just two days ago. After that, as we entered Kiso-dani line, another problem happened! ※ Audio trouble also happened. There’s no license plate, there it was. So, here we fixed it.
These kinds of troubles are also part of the enjoyment of a trail riding, right( ? ) Move along the Kiso-dani line. This is really a pleasant trail. On a trail like this, we used to fly like crazy in the past. but those times are over.
The cable attached overhead is connected to the other side of the mountain. It’s called a “Sakudou(cableway)”. I wonder if they hang lumber or something from that device and send it to the other side of the mountain. And we arrived at Kisogoe-touge(pass).
There’s a road beyond this gate that leads down to Ochiai hot spring, but you cannot go there due to the solid gate. And from here, the trail name changes to Kisogoe line. This area might be the section we saw earlier from the other side of the mountain.
This is another pleasant flat trail. We had lunch at this square we found along the way. After that we went down and down and Kisogoe-touge line ended here, And rejoin Chufuku line. Go left here, and head for a certain place. On the way,
There was a spot where some autumn leaves still remained, so one shot here. And we arrived at the “certain place.” The road ends here. The cable from the sakudou(cableway) we just saw is connected here. And above is the Kiso-touge(pass) we crossed a while ago.
“So what?” you might ask, that’s what nobody knows. We took the shortcut trail that leads back to Chufuku line. It was a bit narrow, which is unusual for the trails in this area. And then… This guy’s suffering was still continuing. So, we finished our 2023 autumn trail riding tour.
