出雲大社参拝後、米子で一泊し、翌日に水木しげるロードへ向かいました。

水木しげるロードは、漫画家・水木しげるが描く妖怪の世界観をテーマとした観光名所で、境港駅から本町アーケードまでの全長約800メートルの間に、水木の代表作『ゲゲゲの鬼太郎』のキャラクターを中心として日本各地の妖怪たちをモチーフとした銅像など多数のオブジェが設置されています。
その後、紅葉する大山へ向かいました。
前日とは違いお天気もよく、絶好のツーリング日和でした。
After visiting Izumo Taisha, we stayed overnight in Yonago and headed to Mizuki Shigeru Road the following day.
Mizuki Shigeru Road is a tourist attraction themed around the world of yokai as depicted by the manga artist Mizuki Shigeru.
The road is approximately 800 metres long from Sakaiminato Station to the Honmachi Arcade, and features numerous bronze statues and other objects based on the motifs of yokai from all over Japan, mainly characters from Mizuki’s masterpiece Spooky Kitarou.
Afterwards, we headed to Mt. Daisen, where the autumn colours of the leaves were in full bloom.
Unlike the previous day, the weather was fine and it was a perfect day for touring.
